MJ and Adam wondered about the killer's change in MO. [Shoeless Joe from Hannibal MO.]
Adam, very sweetly not wanting to embarrass Cheryl, asked MJ to ask if she were a virgin. MJ was Fairly Certain without asking. Adam advised her to talk to Cheryl and said this was not the time for her to give it up and go to bed with Scott. [Your concern is touching, Sgt Cory, but when was the last time you curtailed YOUR sexlife in the interests of MJ's continued living?]
Cheryl has decided to go to bed with Scott.
Dr Glaser arrived at Tops to meet Donna. She told him about her confrontation with her father. She asked him to help prove Michael was the twins' father. Michael rolled up in the flesh, bursting with innocence and blissful ignorance of the dark plots around him. He drifted off to chat with Mitch. Dr Glaser asked blood types. Donna is A+. Marley and Victoria are AB+. Donna realised she could check out the dog tags when they go to visit Mother Hudson this afternoon. The Hudsons left. Dr Glaser approached Felicia. She had Sara show him to a table. Mitch: ask him if he wears socks. Felicia very funny. Mitch: ask him if he wears socks to bed. We've got a bet. Felicia: would you be serious? She told him Elizabeth wasn't using the phone he'd tapped but the one in the ladies' powder room. He said he knew.
Scott reminded Cheryl of the killer. She suggested they go on vacation together next week. She said they could pretend they were going away with a huge school group for the killer's benefit. She'll tell Pops the truth.
Michael and the undead brother used to fight a lot. Michael and Donna invited his impostor mother to come and live with them. She refused to leave the farm. She accused him of having found John.
MJ took Cheryl into the kitchen to talk about sex. Cheryl confessed to being a virgin without being asked. [I have a question. Why does Cheryl have actually to be a virgin for the killer to think she is one? Surely she need only have a virginal reputation. And why does Adam not seem to have any idea? How much action does a child get among the nuns?] She told her she was going to go away to sleep with Scott for Easter vacation. MJ explained Adam's theory. Cheryl said they were taking precautions. [The funny thing is, she means the trip lie.]
Mitch has rigged up a phone which lights up when the ladies' powder room phone is used. It's a listen but not talk. Felicia arranged a date with Dr Glaser for dinner in Chicago tomorrow. Mitch overheard Sara arguing with her mother about her lack of dates.
Felicia listened in on Lisa's conversation with Jamie about some date he has planned.
Cheryl and MJ discussed MJ's First Time. She didn't tell Pops anything, and she admires Cheryl for being upfront with him. [I don't think it's any of his business. I rather wish it weren't any of my business.] She was in Chicago. The man was thought to be beloved and kind and gentle and so on. It was perfect. No mention of any subsequent disillusionment.
Jamie asked Felicia to help him recreate p. 42 of Love Beneath the Stars where Preston surprises Olivia. She was thrilled. Lisa appeared. They refused to tell her anything. Mitch refused to let Felicia listen to any more phone calls. He told Elizabeth he was going on a trip with Michael Hudson to help him find his brother in Key West. She said it was a shame they hadn't become better acquainted. She went to the ladies' room to place a phone call to Singapore. Bingo said Mitch.
Michael refused to get his mother's hopes up. Donna excused herself to go and look at the dog tags secretly. The mother impostor got very worked up.
Donna thought about her remembering session with Dr Glaser. She found that Michael and John were both B+. Drat. She phoned Dr. Glaser to report. He said they could do a cell test if they had John handy. Michael called her.
Elizabeth told the Fat Man that no one would be following Jerry Haupt. The Fat Man said they shouldn't take any chances because Michael couldn't be allowed to get close to his brother.
The impostor mother's nurse put her to bed. Michael hates not being able to level with her.
Cheryl took Vince aside to talk. Greg took Adam aside to bug him about Tony's guilt. Adam was fed up. He threatened to suspect him. Greg left to investigate himself.
Cheryl told Vince she wanted to be treated as an adult. She explained to Vince that other daughters had illegally slept with men and survived. Prospered, even. Virginity is no longer for her. She's sure Scott is The One. Vince took it well.
Michael did not blink an eye when Mitch said [so that Elizabeth could hear] that they were going to Florida. Donna very stupidly almost expressed surprise, but they caught her in time. She and Michael are going to Singapore in his private jet and Mitch will follow commercially.
Jamie took Lisa to dinner on the terrace at Tops. A very special night. She was impressed.
Scott was thrilled to hear Cheryl had pulled it off. They're going to sneak away.
Donna told Michael their love was too precious for them to be separated. He gave in very easily. She gets to go to Singapore.
