EARLY. Chris crept away from sleeping blondes intending to go on without them. Immediately Nancy woke Marley.
Felicia's worried. Cass and Kathleen are nowhere to be found and the DA is Martin, man who tried to help Weston versus Catlin. Enter Martin. He asked what reasons Cass had for hating Daphne.
Cass and Kathleen are unconscious on the floor of the sub basement. Cass came to and was scared to death for Kathleen. She's alive. He lifted her head and she started screaming and gasping.
The blondes tried to detain Chris with coffee. Marley's not sure Nancy should go. Nancy told her she had to be with Chris. Nancy told her to do something aggressive about Jake. Chris showed them a map of the way back. Nancy went to saddle up. Chris wants Marley to keep an eye on Nancy. Nancy doesn't think Carl has any idea where they are.
Carl got cleaned up chatting to the Princess the while. He plots to find Chris.
Kathleen is in great pain. She made him put her down. Her back is not what it should be. Cass found what Carl had hit her with and found the door locked. He pounded for help. He tried to be brave.
Carl is upstairs leaving with the Pharaoh's daughter. Another man appeared and both expressed concern for the unconscious man who came around and explained about the Indian, not recognizing Carl, who said that he was FAO Simone president of Leoleil taking the statue to a vault in Phoenix on the advice of his junior managing directors Cass and Kathleen.
The DA has a search warrant. Felicia told him he'd find nothing in Cass's office. Exit Martin. MJ thinks he's going after headlines. Felicia is going to call to try to find them again.
Cass and Kathleen are not having fun.
Brittany on a plane with Peter smiled to herself and thought about Catlin's utter failure to distinguish himself [in which I refuse to believe. "this can't be happening to me. Everything always goes My Way."] Revolting woman. She apologized to Peter for using him. But she wanted Catlin and Evan back and it seemed like a good idea at the time so she lied. She told him she'd used him because she knew he'd be strong enough to lean on. She always had to look after Catlin. [It's as if she almost despises him. I'm disgusted and appalled. She can't feel any affection for him at all.] She asked forgiveness. She doesn't want to lose his friendship. He suggested they forget the whole thing. He asked what had prompted the lascivious smile. She said she thought it might not be the end but the beginning. NOW I ASK YOU.
Cass covered a cold and aching Kathleen with his natty leather jacket. He was Brave and insisted she stay awake. He encouraged her to sing. She did so shakily. He looked around for a way out.
Marley let it slip that she expected Nancy to go with Chris. Chris objected. He got no help from Marley who left clutching her large hat to her head [she wears mighty unreasonable clothes. A long skirt and a ruffled blouse and her hair in a tight knot]. Chris took off with Nancy in pursuit.
Sally is unfond of Martin. She let Daniel talk to Felicia. He said Cass and Kathleen had vanished leaving no trace except a car in the hotel parking lot and all their other belongings. She told him not to wait for Cass and begin locating.
Martin displayed Daphne's lipstick found in Cass's office. He seems to think it conclusive.
Kathleen got a little hysterical and blamed herself for everything. Cass soothed her.
Chris and Nancy argued across great distances. He told her it was too dangerous for her to come and off we go.
Catlin returned to his little cabin in the woods and was made mildly nervous by Sally's voice saying "Catlin, Catlin are you there?" For a moment I thought it could be a nervous-making plot to make him go insane but she's leaving a message on the machine to the effect that she loves him horribly, misses him madly, and will go insane herself should he not call her soon. She is lonely.
Sally's worried about Cass and Kathleen. Daniel shrugs. "They're both a bit crazy, you put them together, you get a lot crazy. There probably off doing something quite silly." he told Sally to go to makeup. He doesn't seem to think she should count on Catlin returning her call.
Catlin picked up the phone as if to call and then CHANGED HIS MIND. Doctor fickle to you, honey. The boy has the hands of a chirugien and the IQ of wilted lettuce [going one better than Penelope].
Edouard and Felicia think the murderer would have to be insane to keep a clew like that [ergo it's not Cass]. The DA says murderers are irrational ["women are irrational that's all there is to that their heads are full of cotton hay and rags." I've been Unwell for three days now [it's tomorrow] and I'm addled]. The DA sees little point in asking Carl questions. He thinks MJ is a suck. He thinks it ain't aspic. Exit Martin. Edouard got Felicia to read a short story in which he could have a non-leading part. Exit Ed. Enter Zane. He kissed Felicia. They get along swell. He hopes Edouard gets the part. He asked her to dinner at his place. She's busy with Edouard tonight. He yelled because he was mad. He bellowed that he loved her and suggested they make it tomorrow night. She accepted. He kissed her.
Cass begged Kathleen not to go to sleep because he can't shake her. He tried to keep her awake with stories of the good times they'd had [well, you know, the strange scary stuff and sex]. He's on the verge of tears begging her to hang on because They'll be here any minute now.
Marley saw a man in white asleep in a Jeep and stopped to help. It was lovely Carl, natch. She ran into a nearby hogan. He said he'd huff and he'd puff, darling.
Nancy suddenly stopped because Chris was off his horse aiming a vicious bow and arrow at her.
Carl got in. Marley did her best to defy him. He told her the Bad Guys lost only in fairy tales.
Edouard interrupted to say he'd retained the best lawyer in the state for Cass in case of charge.
Cass begged Kathleen not to die and kissed her chastely on the cheek.
