ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

December 13, 1984

Blaine told Sandy she wanted a divorce. She said he was still possessed of the soul of a gigolo.

Cornbread lost. MJ figured out where Kathleen got the money and she's furious. (Kathleen's middle name is Theresa. The mother's maiden name was Callahan.) She called her sick and selfish and miserable. Wallingford is upset that Kathleen bet on his advice. She doesn't want Cass to know. Cass asked her to come over.

Donna wants Carl to come home for dinner. (She must want to poison him then. She's glad that Marley's going out to dinner with Ben. She says she'll see to it that Carl is out of their lives.

Mac wants Larry to do something about Carl. Rachel's into the eggnog already.

Everyone's fed up with solving Cass' problem. Cass wants Kathleen to come up with an idea. Wallingford and Felicia left leaving Kathleen instructions to tell Cass all. She left instead.

They Corys are plotting a Merry Christmas. Jamie suggested a pre-holiday dinner. Blaine won't go. She's still brooding about her divorce.

Donna thought about giving Carl poisoned tea and then telling Marley [that she is her mother] who reacted in a really bizarre fashion (saying: I think I've known all along). Of course it was only wishful thinking.

Wallingford called Cass meathead. He told Cass about Kathleen's bet. He was magnificent.

Kathleen's crying a lot. MJ's trying to comfort her.

Mac came to talk to Hutchins alone. Sandy was thrown out. Mac accused Carl of being behind it all. He called him amoral. Carl was coolly insolent. O DEAR MAC SAID IF ANYTHING HAPPENED TO ANY MEMBER OF HIS FAMILY HE'D KILL CARL. Carl wants Rachel observed when she leaves the house.

Sandy won't tell Jamie precisely what's going on. He says he won't fail his father again, even if it costs him his marriage.

Three guesses as to whom this describes: "insensitive, egotistical, tyrannical, pompous, self-centred boor" Kathleen being quoted on Cass. Cass called Jamie. He's going to beg for his old job back dressed as Krystle. Jamie's tickled to death by Cass' getup. Cass claims he's doing research for a book. Cass' idea of begging is not the same as mine. He told Jamie he's willing to come back to work for him.

Carl returned to Donna's. She seemed to be on the verge of ladling tea into him like mad. He got a call saying that Rachel had left the house.

"Come on, Jamie, don't play hard to get. You want me and you know it." sayeth Cass. Meaning his (self-admittedly brilliant) legal mind, not Krystle's body. Jamie said he'd think about it until Cass said he needed $50,000 up front. The Jamie cancelled his order and turned him down flat. (Cass: Aw, come on, Jamie, just a roll. He's hungry.)

Rachel got to Tallboys. There was a call from Amanda.

Carl wanted to rush off without tea but Donna made him stay a little longer. (I know not whether he drank deeply of her brew.)
