Cass is in a good mood. He ran into Felicia in the hospital and she told him about the marriage license. He in his turn had a proposition for Kathleen.
There is to be a treasure press conference at the Corys' today. Mac is too busy for words so Rachel is his Christmas shopping delegate [a position which entails searching out kite-flying Chinamen]. She wants him to spend time with the kids.
Chris has news for Nancy. Enter Ada in time to witness one of their numerous clinches. She disapproved and sent them in for the conference. Amanda asked if they were in love.
Edouard was dug up at long last and presented with his co-star for the test. A blonde. When they began she turned into Felicia. He faltered and they had to begin again.
Grant wants a lawyer post-haste. Felicia dropped in on him. He asked if he could borrow Cass to make a will. She is convinced he won't die. She told him about her wedding and invited him. He's thrilled.
Ada is upset by Nancy and Chris. She complained to Rachel. She likes Chris lots but she doesn't trust Nancy's impulsive tendencies. Amanda is afraid Mac will miss her play. Left alone with Ada she confided that she'd written the play to surprise him. He HAS to come.
Kathleen thought about Edouard helping her with the chair. Enter Cass. He told her he and Wally figured they could get a handwriting expert to prove Daphne hadn't written on the mirror. He asked about the wheelchair. She said she'd been for a spin already with the aid of a nurse [no mention of Edouard.] He suggested she stay with him. She told him she had to go home. He got upset. She soothed him and said she could take care of herself.
Paul gave Edouard a pep talk between scenes. Edouard left. Paul panicked.
Felicia asked Cass to go to Grant. Cass made Kathleen promise not to zip about alone and left. Kathleen told Felicia she couldn't stand Cass hovering over her. Felicia told her she loved him. Kathleen changed the subject. Paul called to tell Felicia Edouard had done a bunk.
The press conference went well. Once alone Chris told Nancy he was outmoving. She got extremely upset. He can't sneak around anymore but she can come to visit. Ada came in and sent Chris to chat with a reporter. She wants a chat with Nancy about Chris. Nancy told her not to worry, he's moving out.
Cass got Grant's last will and testament down and went to prepare it. Carter dropped in and Grant didn't tell him about the will. He's thrilled about the possibility of Carter breaking a football record today. In fact he went just the slightest bit insane [tomb dust insanity] raving about it. Carter was perturbed. Grant became himself once more.
Felicia was unable to trace Edouard. Kathleen told her about Lancelot Lodge. Felicia got on the phone.
Quinn and Grant plotted Christmas gifts for the offspring. The doctor came in to ask if he could remember what brought the attack on. Grant thought about the Blue Jar but couldn't think of it to pass on [if you see what I mean].
Mac is in a rush. Rachel gave him Amanda's composition to read and made him promise to be at the play on the 20th. Mac ran across Amanda on the way out and assured her he loved her and would be there.
Cass and Wally hope Grant recovers. Wally is relieved not to have to help Zane and Felicia along any more. They're awaiting the handwriting expert.
Nancy's out of temper. Chris tried to reason with her. She hates his beeper. She's upset he sublet an apartment before telling her.
The expert pointed out that that on the mirror couldn't be Daphne's natural handwriting. However he is forced to admit that it could be Daphne just funning them, like.
Lancelot Lodge caretaker denied everything abruptly. Felicia got a funny feeling and decided she had time to check it out before Zane.
Wally put some upbeat music on the jukebox [and we danced]. Cass was less than thrilled [with life]. Then he got an Idea. If they can't prove the writing wasn't Daphne's perhaps they can prove it WAS Carl's. He had to repeat it. And they danced in celebration.
The weather is not good. Felicia in a hurry had an accident.
Nancy yelled at Chris and stomped off.
