ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

November 11, 1985

Nancy is in a rush to get to Chris before he gets away. Marley told her he wanted only to make sure nothing happened to her. Nancy's response: "I KNOW. But I want to make sure something does."

Hawk is to go to hospital. Chris is leaving without Nancy as soon as the ambulance comes.

Felicia summoned Sally to inspect the Princess. She says a desert is a desert and they should shoot Sally with it. She had Carl move it to see how it looked with her. They decided to poke around in the props in case of a sphinx. Felicia prevented Carl from making away with the statue.

Hawk thanks Chris should at least try to talk sense to Nancy. Tom thinks he should take her with him. Chris keeps saying "this is impossible." Hawk wishes he could go. Chris has to go now.

Daniel laughed at the statue. Felicia forced him to look more closely and he was impressed. Sally is not in a great mood because she found out Catlin had dumped Kevin with Clarice and fled the city without telling her.

Mrs. Tillis spoke against telling lies. Brittany's rocking insanely but she stopped abruptly when Mrs. Tillis said she'd seen Catlin arriving at the motel in town. Mrs. Tillis left. Peter arrived eager to ride but Britt vetoed it. He had other fun ideas to prevent moping but she is determined. He told her not to give up the search for lack of Catlin. She supposed she'd pushed too hard. He told her Catlin's problem was he was selfish [such the shellfish as that man is, it manifests itself in his having married Sally to prevent anyone else from having a go at her] he doesn't want her to think about HIM [Catlin] any more because he [Peter]'ll help with funds etc. Britt told him he [Catlin]'d come around. Peter was pronouncedly anti-Catlin. The coroner arrived and got rid of Peter.

Felicia has linked the statue to Daphne. Cass and Kathleen arrived to break the news.

Carl's listening to the Princess beeping. He can't wait to retrieve her. He's wishing Mac pleasant dreams.

Nancy and Marley caught up to Chris and turned over the staff. Nancy wants to come. Chris said it was too dangerous. Nancy begged. He gave in. They kissed.

The coroner told Britt a strange man pretending to be her husband had appeared. He'd fended him off but he's suspicious. Britt insisted he was crazy. The coroner said Catlin's papers showed he had a legal right to know and she should have the chance to tell him the truth before he had to. Exit coroner.

What I take to be Carl practicing a funny accent with which to ask after Chris. He keeps sticking Perries in the vocative.

Catlin arrived and stayed the coroner. He asked what about Evan. Britt tried to cover up. The coroner refused to tell Catlin anything unless he came down to his office. Catlin seethed and attacked him. Britt tried to call him off and the coroner made sheriff-summoning noises but Catlin has been arrested so often in Dry Creek he just doesn't care anymore. Eventually the coroner was freed. He fled. Britt lit into Catlin for not caring about Evan. He apologized for letting her do all the grubbing around but said he'd help from now on. She yelled at him. He raved about how Evan was now officially alive and they could go down to the courthouse and subpoena everything they could get their grubby little hands on. She yelled at him to STOP IT. And screamed. Peter to the rescue.

The Lesoleil people and Kathleen discussed Daphne. Sally asked Daniel to go for a walk with her. Cass advised Felicia to go back to Bay City to handle the publicity. Kathleen saw the statue and identified it as the one they'd seen. They deduced Carl was after it and decided to hide it in the Lesoleil warehouse. Felicia bequeathed them her suite and went to make arrangements. Kathleen promptly called for another room. There are no rooms left. She said she would sleep on Sally's couch. Cass asked how such a passionate woman could become so cold. She said "maybe because she came involved in an unsatisfying relationship with a JERK." exit Kathleen. Ouch.

Chris was unable to get away with his claim that he'd been waiting for Nancy. They know she has to go back after one night. They're going to a rock that looks like a dragon.

Peter yelled at Catlin for upsetting Brittany. Catlin is not thrilled that Peter is involved. He told Britt to get rid of Peter because Evan has nothing to do with him. Peter told him Brittany didn't want him to go. Catlin said that didn't matter. Peter thanks Catlin has dumped on Brittany enough and Catlin thinks Peter interferes in his life too much. Peter told him to go. Catlin told him not to tell him what to do [Peter gets a lot of this. From Jake too]. Peter reiterated his order. There was a deadly silence before Catlin made challenging noises. Brittany remonstrated with him but Peter wound up biffed and choking. Then Catlin went to find his son. Brittany called after him.

Location music. These people have a Thing about horses.

Britt caught up to Catlin at the motel on the phone threatening to take the coroner to court. He's fed up with her. He ordered her to tell him what she knew about Evan.

Nancy and Chris sound pretty cozy. She plied him with promises of planes and houses and swimming pools and horses but he said all he wanted was her. Silence. Enter Marley embarrassed at having interrupted something.

Felicia left Cass a lot of instructions before leaving. Kathleen told Cass she'd found another room. He asked what she'd meant by unsatisfying. She said they yelled at each other half the time. He wanted to hear about the other half. She admitted they'd been fun but exceptions to the rule. He told her she couldn't expect perfection all the time and suggested they give it a chance. Silence. Cass was called to oversee the warehouse. Cass wants to trap Carl with the Princess.

Britt confessed to Catlin.

Cass is in a good mood. Catching Carl and Kathleen pleases him.

Carl arrived and decided to go for the statue before Chris. Beep. Beep.
