ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

July 11, 1985

Michaud instructed Felicia to make a wish so he could make it come true.

Clarice is waitressing her little heart out. Catlin's reassuring her. Enter MJ newly returned from California tactlessly asking after Larry.

Polo doesn't think Adrienne should get too close to the prisoner. She told him she'd burn all of his comic books if he told Tommy Lee lies. Exit Polo. Adrienne told Larry she'd help him escape if he'd take her with him. He hedged and promised he'd come back for her. She asked him to hold her to prove how much he cared about her. He did so. Tighter. So we discover that Adrienne is not all Adrienne -- bits of her are wrench. He's mildly unshaven. It's important to her that he care. She is to behave as though he overpowered her and he'll bash Polo. Enter Jimmy. He sent Adrienne to take a phone call. Jimmy told Larry Adrienne was Tommy Lee's lady. He told him Tommy Lee was going to kill him. In various ways.

Felicia wouldn't divulge her wish. It was impossible because it had to do with Edouard. (I'm sure that's the mystery guest.) She was told to make another. A message came for Michaud saying he had to go back to the house. She wanted to go with him and he tried to dissuade her but she told him her wish had been to see the Chapin Mansion. He was forced to give in.

Daphne pored over her hieroglyphic symbols. Cass arrived and said he'd found a finalist.

Clarice fled with a feeble excuse about having to see the cook. MJ asked Catlin about Larry. He began by ignoring her question and talking about California. He told her he didn't think of Larry as his brother any more because he was now a hotshot drug dealer and he'd become a real ladies' man. He said he didn't want to talk about how he knew but Larry'd changed and he advised her to steer clear of him. He then said he had to go to Washington to pick up Sally and Kevin (NORMAL PEOPLE DON'T GO TO WASHINGTON TO RETRIEVE WIVES AND SONS I said). She tried to find out what exactly had gone on but he clammed up. Everything he did say though sounded like it had deep significance. She kept looking at him like she was humouring him and didn't believe him. Not unreasonable, since she's mildly in the know. Exit Catlin. MJ asked Clarice about Larry and she said he'd run off to Canada with some woman.

Adrienne returned, much to Larry's relief. Jimmy's going soon to pick up Tommy Lee at the airport (see, Catlin, this is how it's done) and when Polo is left, utterly brainless, Adrienne is to cry out and Larry will smash him and escape. She said she trusted him and he was the first man who ever treated her like she meant something. She said they had time and she wanted him to make love to her.

Cass has a blonde named Jennifer (who seems to be lacking in humour or something) whom he touted to Daphne. Jennifer left and Daphne told Cass she wasn't good enough. Cass took fits. "What do you want me to do? Dress up in drag and be the Lesoleil woman myself?" Daphne says he's doing a fine job but he has to keep looking. He asked if she really wanted him to find the woman or was she after something else.

Michaud told Felicia a workman had accidentally cut through the gas main but the gas company had put a band-aid on it and averted a catastrophe. She told him she'd written a book once about a man who held a young girl he loved captive in a mansion. She loved him too. He knew about it "Lock Out the Night". He felt it was a theme close to her heart. She told him about restoring antiques but he said they were Daphne's domain. A little lost workman appeared and wanted to be shown back to the north wing where he was working on the special lock. Michaud went with him and Felicia, intrigued, decided to follow secretly.

MJ told Clarice Larry loved her and asked when she'd heard from him last. Clarice got upset and stomped off. MJ tried to call Larry's hotel but she was interrupted by Kathleen.

Kissing. Larry protested on the grounds that 'it shouldn't be like this' it should be better and it wasn't fair to her what with him being a married man and all. She said he was a sensitive man not like all the others she knew. Strange sounds emanating from the furnace alarmed Larry but she thought they were nothing.

Cass said he was Americas and he knew what was what. Phil called him and said he had women to send over. Daphne thought about finding the hieroglyphs. Cass wants the women to come over today but she said tomorrow. Exit Cass. Daphne pored over her hieroglyphs.

Adrienne wants Larry. This could be their last chance.

Michaud caught Felicia snooping and forgave her much to her embarrassment. He told her the lock was to store the antiques. They discussed what a stunning couple Felicia and Monsieur had made and Daphne and Michaud did make. Enter Daphne who almost gave the game away regarding their visitor but Michaud interrupted her in time. Exit Felicia for dinner with Wally. Au revoir.

Daniel called Lesoleil and Cass told him Daphne and Michaud were gone for the day and he had nothing to write on so he couldn't take a message. Kathleen witnessed this and said she'd been looking for Daphne so he couldn't help. He was friendly and said he could help because she wanted an interview with Michaud and he'd monkey about with Michaud's appointment book. She was pleased. He offered to take her to dinner but she had a date with Daniel. He took offense and she tried to placate him but he left.

Larry figures the noises are mice. Adrienne's planning their life together. She wants him to take her with him. He said he'd come back for her but he didn't promise to spend the life with her.

Michaud told Daphne they had to be more careful. He went to the north wing.

Cass bitched to Felicia about how hard he works. She accused him of being an egomaniac and told him not to quit. She told him to check out the other Lesoleil women and see if they shared something. She fled saying she had a date. "Doesn't everybody?" said Cass. "I really shouldn't go into Daphne's office without her being here ... BUT I WILL."

Adrienne and Larry prepared to escape but enter Jimmy and Tommy Lee from an earlier flight.

Cass looked for photos of Lesoleil women in Daphne's desk. He found the hieroglyphics. "Your secretary sure does take bizarre shorthand, Daphne."

MJ's new partner is associated with the criminals.

Larry pretended Adrienne had been spying for Tommy Lee and he hated her. She went along with it. Exit Adrienne. It's confession time.
