A delivery came for Mary at the hotel. It was a collection of McKinnon photograph albums. She pored over the pictures eagerly.
MJ, Kathleen, and Cass tried subtly to restrain Vince's enthusiasm. His spirits were not dampened.
Reginald told Donna he wanted her to be secure.
Peter grew menacing. Brittany developed a certain amount of bravado. He said she'd probably like to be a widow. He removed the bullets from the gun and found its mate in her closet. She told him he was a creep. He told her he intended to be a live creep, but he wouldn't mind being a widower.
Reginald pretended not to be threatening Michael. Donna lashed out at him. He talked on and on about her losing her husband and children and said they should be closer. He advised her to break it off with Michael. Enter Michael and Victoria. Reginald made a great show of being civil to him.
Cass convinced MJ and Kathleen to let him tell Cheryl that Mary had been having an affair with Reginald before the accident. Cheryl disapproved but she agreed Pops should not be told.
Felicia summoned Rachel to Mary's Place for a chat about wonderful Mac. She told her Mitch was attractive and sincere-seeming and she had no business being in his apartment.
Mary was delighted with the pictures. She showed them to Dolores. She discovered she'd written on the backs of the photographs herself. She laughed and cried and gazed and gazed.
Reginald exerted himself to be charming (I don't think) to Michael and Victoria. He reminded Donna of their little chat and phoned Mary to ask her to lunch in New York. She refused. Peter found him alone. Reginald begged for his help. He asked him to make certain Vince found out he and Mary had been having an affair before the accident. Peter claimed to be devoted to his own wife.
Brittany ordered a handgun and set out to pick it up. She ran into Michael. He asked if Peter hit her. she assumed an expression meant to convey pious suffering and said he said she deserved it. She expressed dissatisfaction with her marriage and fled.
Vince took flowers to Mary. He told her their children needed a mother and asked her to come home. She took Reginald's side against him. They quarrelled. He said he would tell her the truth. He told her she had loved him. She told him to tell her about their marriage.
Rachel took offence.
Michael asked Donna what Reginald had done to upset her. She made him promise to be careful. He promised. He made her tell him she loved him. She balked at promising they'd be married and live happily ever after. He pounced on her and asked what Reginald had done.
Quinn thinks Zach Edwards is an arrogant jerk. She ran into him at Mary's Place. He told her he had had no success in chatting with the board of directors. He propositioned her. She told him to get lost.
Vince told Mary she'd been a wonderful mother. He told her they'd met at church in her senior year at high school. They were married the autumn after graduation. They were passionately in love. He said he still loved her and he thought they could have a new start. Enter Reginald, who ordered him out.
Brittany rushed into her room with her handgun and thought about her chat with Peter this morning. She ripped open a pink stuffed rabbit and hid the gun inside, cleverly propping the bunny up against her bedside telephone. NORMAL PEOPLE DO NOT DO THIS.
Donna refused to tell Michael. She begged him not to hate her for what she was about to say.
Vince said Bad Things about Reginald. Reginald denied them. Mary said she had to make a choice.
