Nicole refused to allow Donna more than a few days before the wedding. Enter Victoria to give Donna a message from Reginald: if she marries Michael she will no longer be a part of the Love family.
Brittany was forced to let Peter read the letter.
Everyone remonstrated with Vince. He walked back to Mary and said it wasn't right and he'd changed his mind. (Everyone thought he meant to throw her out. Mary even offered to leave.) He asked her to participate in the candle lighting thing. Everyone was thrilled. The candles were lit, with Felicia and Wallingford acting as the groom's parents. MJ sang If You Say My Eyes Are Beautiful as usual. Adam looked at MJ. Cass and Kathleen looked self-conscious. Mac and Rachel sitting in among the nuns held hands and Mac whispered "I'm so glad I'm married to you."
Peter tore up the blood tests and letter. Brittany said she could get Jamie to phone Reginald and the only thing he could do to prevent her broadcasting the fact that he wasn't her child's father would be to let her go. He admitted she had him over a barrel, but said it wasn't biology so much as the legality that determined ownership.
If You Say My Eyes Are Beautiful. Cass and Kathleen made a funny little speech thanking everyone for sticking with them and loving them etc. Let the vows begin.
Donna was all too willing to marry Michael at the end of the week. Michael perceived she was a little tired. He and Nicole joined forces to send her home with Victoria to rest. He has arrangements to make. He told Nicole Donna wasn't getting any better but he was hoping to get her away from all the bad memories.
Peter told Brittany he'd offered her respect, security, and a Name, and she'd humiliated him. He seems to regret having banged her around in a vague sort of way, although he blames her. [If they want to make a point about battered wives this is very difficult, because she was probably even more provoking and tiresome than most. He shouldn't have done it. It would make my satisfaction with the situation much easier to bear.] He told her she had done bad things. Sara came down the stairs. Peter phoned Jamie.
Michael's glad Nicole is on his side. She claims she's been hanging out in Europe because she was running away. Her mother's death upset her.
Victoria put Donna to bed. Donna asked her to stay with her. Victoria told her she regretted coming to Marley's wedding the way she did and she wanted her and Michael to be happy.
Traditional-type vows and ring. Reginald lurked in the balcony. [That can't be what it's called, can it? I forgot, he was up there before looking thrilled when he thought Vince was throwing Mary out and then revolted when it turned out Vince wanted her to be more there.] He trotted down when the priest said everyone had to kiss the person next to him or her and Vince was next to Mary and made a Scene, telling her she had to come back to him. He was dragged out screaming by the men present. MJ was revolted to see Mary upset to see Reginald so distressed. The priest made a little prayer blessing everyone. Cass and Kathleen are now officially wed. Mitch took photographs all over the place.
Peter yelled at Jamie for the test results. He accused him of wanting to ruin his life. Jamie said he was merely a doctor. Enter Brittany. Peter asked why Brittany carried a gun. She said if she had to kill him before he let her go she would. Bridget summoned Peter to the stables to see to the new wild horse. He seems dangerous. Bridget asked Jamie to come and look at Donna at once. (She was looking very pale and dead with Victoria.)
Everyone fussed over Donna. Victoria took Jamie aside and told him Donna had been talking like a child. He chatted with Donna and told her she had to remember to take her medicine. Enter Michael. Jamie told him he wanted to do more tests and left. Michael announced that after they were married he and Donna were moving to Europe.
Nicole sought out Reginald and told him Donna would be getting married as she should have 20 years ago. He said Michael was trash. She got upset at him for not having contacted his family while he was dead and suffering no remorse. He whimpered about Mary.
Felicia found Mary alone in the church. Mary told her she had been right in her exposé. Felicia told her she was sorry. She insisted on dragging her to the reception.
The reception pulled itself together. Cheryl help Scott set up. Ada warned them to keep a low profile. The guests began to arrive.
Nicole got Reginald some tea. She told him again Donna was marrying Michael and he should be nice about it. Exit Nicole. Enter Victoria. She Reginald told Michael wanted her to go with him and Donna to Europe. Reginald said Michael would roast in hell before taking Victoria from him. Michael heard this.
Receiving. Mitch took Rachel's photograph. She was civil. Adam told MJ she was beautiful and suggested they hang out a little later. She said flattery would get him everywhere with her. The bride and groom arrived. Kathleen danced with her father. Mary looked on. Cass approached her for a dance. She was gratified. Vince wished Kathleen happiness and turned her over to Cass. Cass tried to give him Mary.
