ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

December 10, 1984

Carl was utterly sinister. He told Marley that they should be close and she owed him. She denied owing him anything. It was terribly sinister. (Verging on Bay City blackmail, truly.)

Donna had nightmares about Carl telling Marley and Marley saying she hated her for not telling her before. She woke up and said that Carl had to be prevented from telling Marley.

Catlin and Sally and Kevin were at Smiley's. Life recently has been one grand whirl for Kevin. He's been to the zoo, and ice skating, and not Catlin and Sally are trying to think of something else to do with him. Aunt Liz came in and said something unintelligible about having a date with someone (probably Brian, Bay City's resident OLD UNMARRIED MAN who is pressed into service whenever one of the old women needs an escort.) She spirited Kevin away and Catlin promptly sat where Kevin had been sitting next to Sally and kissed her rather a good deal.

Wallingford is visiting Cass. He had a large bankroll for which Cass was willing to be grateful until Wallingford told him apologetically that it was already all spent. The baseboard design has crept from the baseboard to the chest of drawers to the table to the chairs. 'S scary. Maisie came with orange juice and a fried egg sandwich for Crystal (I think they intend it to be spelled Krystle, actually.) Cass said he wasn't decent but Maisie said she didn't mind. (Oh.) Eventually Cass convinced her that he'd come down and eat in a couple of minutes so she went away. Cass does not look forward to putting on Krystle's clothes and going out. Wallingford is highly entertained by Cass' predicaments and his escapes therefrom.

Carl seems to suspect Sandy of being the one who tipped the police off. Sandy was much the innocent. Donna arrived and Sandy left. Donna told Carl she'd tell the police about the ring if he told Marley. Carl was unperturbed.

Larry is much frustrated because Jamie won't say why he told them to check out the Love stables. He says only "I thought it would be a good idea." Larry has made the connection with Majorca and Ross and Carl.

Donna demanded to know what Sandy was doing in her stables.

Ben wanted Marley to move into his house but she declined. Ben has this fixed idea that there's something weird about the Love estate and he doesn't like Marley living there.

If Carl is as sinister as he sounds Donna will go berserk. Ben too.
