Catlin & Sally left the barn to go in to town. He made her leave the duck behind on the grounds that it was too conspicuous.
Cass promised to get the money back to the Tuna . He's been warned by Felicia not to seduce Kathleen. He asked Kathleen out and tried to make reservations at a French restaurant but they know him for what he is there -- penniless. And so refuse to let him in.
Alice and Mark know that Sally went to Crystal Lake.
Cass (as a last resort) called some strange woman and made a date with her (for the sake of her cooking). (Dominique.)
Donna was prevented from wearing a ring by Carl. Peter and Emily are coming over for dinner. For the first time in a long time Donna did not give in when Carl started in attacking her. Donna alarmed Carl by saying she'd fired Hildy (if you recall Carl has Hildy keeping an eye on dear Miss Love) because she caught her going through her things. She hired her back though when Hildy began to cry.
Carter won a scholarship so the McKinnons are throwing a poker Party for him. I'm not sure why but Thomasina's not there and Carter was evasive when MJ asked him about it.
Ben and Marley are going to the party. Donna's aghast to hear it's a poker Party. Donna raved about Ben's "grubby little house". She asked Carl to get rid of Emily so she could talk to Peter alone.
Marley was instructed in the intricacies of poker. She won the first hand, natch. With a straight flush.
Carl called Emily Miss -- Benson (suspiciously unfamiliar with her.) Mark called Peter and told him he's finally paid off the right man. [?] Donna was alarmed to hear Mark is at Crystal Lake. She was even more alarmed to hear that Alice is there too. Mark says he thinks he's got the goods on Royal Dunning's clinic. (Naturally Carl, who had been sent to the wine cellar, was listening on the extension.)
Cass was appreciative of the cooking woman. He was suddenly doubled up with painful shingles. He got rid of her but got her to leave her food behind. Kathleen came. She was impressed. He said he wanted them to be friends.
Mark says by this time tomorrow he'll know who killed David. Alice called him a sleaze. (David, not Mark. She likes Mark.) Mark says Peter was tense. Hiding something.
Carl took Emily for a walk for Donna. Peter reassured Donna about what Mark will find out. Or not.
Cass knows that Cecile is in Majorca. He's worrying about her. Kathleen suggested that Cass go to Majorca. Suddenly she started raving about the money he wants instead of her friendship.
Marley won yet another hand. It seems MJ went to school with the coach. The coach told Ben what a great guy he is. He's set up scholarships from small colleges for him.
Kathleen snapped at Jamie (she's in a bad mood.)
MJ and Jamie have taken to kissing rather a lot. It makes their faces unrecognizable. Jamie likes the McKinnons.
The party broke up.
Marley likes the McKinnons. Ben is in a good mood.
"Cass Winthrop I hate you" said Kathleen.
I'm so sure it's Emily. It makes so much sense. I have wished her ill forever.
Donna's waiting up for Marley. Mark Singleton can't find out. He can't.
Cass went to the McKinnons. He apologized for hurting her feelings. She said she couldn't give him the money but he could embezzle a bit more. A lot of silence. Cass left.
