Felicia is run ragged with wedding plans. Wally means to do something to clear Cass. He hopes to enlist her aid.
Jake and Marley are on a skiing holiday. She doesn't want him to hurt himself. He scorns beginners' slopes.
Mac is having a bad reaction to Chris' drug. Chris begged for his recognition. Mac said his name and asked for Rachel. Rachel comforted him. Mac can't see or hear clearly. Now he can see. He asked if he were dying. Rachel begged Chris to help.
Wally and Felicia want to go to the DA's office to tell him the truth. They mean to make nice and refrain from nasty remarks and loss of temper. Repentance is the order of the day. Their intention is to rifle the DA's secret files but they didn't tell their lawyer that. Felicia: how? Wallingford: how what? Felicia: how are we going to get a few moments alone with the DA's secret files? Wally: I haven't thought of that yet. Felicia: OH. OH. OH. I KNEW YOU'D SAY THAT. I knew it. Wally: we'll think of SOMETHING. Felicia: WELL WHAT IF WE DON'T? WHAT IF WE THINK OF SOMETHING AND IT'S ALL WRONG? What if they send us to Alcatraz for five to ten? Wally: oh that's ridiculous. Alcatraz is closed. Besides we have to do this for Cass. Felicia: the last time we did something for Cass we got arrested. Do you remember that? This time we could actually go to jail, did you think of that? Did you? Wally: I thought of that. But do we have any choice? Did you think of that? Huh? Huh? Huh? She hit him and told him to get his coat. They left.
Jake has done something dreadful to his ankle. Marley is concerned. He refuses to admit defeat.
Dr Longo seems to be taking credit for Mac's stabilization. Rachel attributes it to Chris. If Chris is not allowed to do blood workups we shall take our business elsewhere.
Felicia and Wallingford told the DA that they've been gathering colour for a new book. The DA agreed to drop the charges if they'd promise not to take the law into their own hands with respect to Cass. Felicia tried to research DA hood [for a book] and Wallingford spilled coffee on him. The DA rushed out of his office in a temper with Wally on his heels and Felicia dashed to his filing cabinet muttering imprecations.
Marley and Jake being unable to ski have been driven to other activities. Starting with sneaky interrogation about aunt Nicole. Marley cannot believe that Victoria had anything to do with aunt Nicole's money. So let's shut up about Nicole and get down to business.
Mac is sane and alive and feelin' groovy. Chris said they'd have to wait to see if the episodes will recur. The blood chemistry is stabilizing. Unfortunately Rachel flipped out. Mac was distressed. The Corys begged Chris to cure Rachel. He sent Nancy to sneakily get Pam to test Rachel's blood.
Felicia was sidetracked by a file labeled Sedrack and found an incriminating letter from Carl saying beware of Daphne and she would cease to be useful in the near future. The DA and Wallingford returned and the DA threw them out.
Zane and Annie showed up at Felicia's apartment. He deduced that she was in Martin's office. He thinks Felicia is wonderful. Annie has doubts about a big bash wedding. Cynthia Moffatt, reporter from Romance Digest arrived for an interview with Felicia but settled for Zane.
Jake and Marley have big plans for the Plains Motel. He needs the money, like, YESTERDAY. He'd rather not ski than try to get money at the moment. She said she needed and wanted him and it was perfect right now.
Zane said it wasn't love at first sight. He doesn't miss Oregon. Britt has nothing to do with this wedding. He will not compare his love for Felicia with Kirk's love for Passion. All he will say is Felicia is the swellest and he loves her and that's that. No fairy tale. Exit Cynthia. She called him Mr. Gallant. He doesn't care as long as he's got Felicia.
Jake called a halt to the proceedings. Much as he wants to make love to her it has to get even more perfect. Weddings and honeymoons. She asked if he were actually afraid that she wouldn't measure up to the standards he expected from Victoria.
Cass is on his way to look at the latter. Felicia can't understand why the DA would withhold evidence against Carl. Wally figures it's pure unadulterated publicity. Felicia discovered she'd lost her ring.
Jake pretty much told Marley not to be a dope. "This is not a contest. Jake/Vicky versus Jake/Marley. This is us." He said he loved her and she was different from Victoria. Life together is more than an evening in a ski lodge. She doesn't want to wait too long. They don't have to have everything before they get married. He suggested they set a date.
We are awaiting Rachel's test results. Tom came with them. Chris went to inject Rachel. Enter Dr Longo as we all stood by Mac's bedside. He asked after Dr Chapin.
Felicia is convinced her ring is in the DA's file drawer. She took fits. BAD fits.
A wedding in May. The first Saturday. We are in love. They decided to go home.
Dr Longo demanded the file in Tom's hand. Rachel's bloodwork. He went to Rachel's room and told Tom to take a good look and remember what she saw.
