ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

May 5, 1988

Jason slept over at John's. John was curious. Jason was vague. He said he was determined to be Frame Construction one way or another. I'm surprised John has real furniture on his boat. There's a couch and stuff.

Felicia found a barbell on her couch and struggled to remove it. There was other strange clutter. Felicia decided to kill Matthew. Lisa returned just floating on air. Felicia admitted Jamie was angry. She told her about Matthew and Kevin and begged her to be female with her for a while together. They moved the barbell.

There were clothes strewn all over the room where Jamie and Vicky slept. Vicky curled closer to Jamie and kissed him. He slept on. Vicky smiled and phoned the hospital to ask about Mikey. She found out he was leaving today. Rachel phoned. Jamie looked embarrassed.

John, who had been vehemently opposed to taking money from Michael or using the name Hudson for the company, inexplicably proposed doing both. Jason thought it odd that John wasn't best man. He said that Frame was a better name than Hudson for their construction business. History. Mary came by. She was not pleased to see Jason.

Felicia advised Lisa to go to the farm to talk to Jamie, especially since she hadn't written him and he knew she'd written Adam. Lisa found this advice good. She met Matthew and Kevin on her way out. Matthew left for school without breakfast. Felicia was sweet to Kevin. "You know, Kevin, Matthew's father, well, I love him very much and I've known Matthew for most of his life. You're Matthew's best friend, which means that you're very welcome here. If you don't pick up those weights and get them out of here I am going to have your legs broken."

Rachel asked Jamie over for dinner. He said he had to man Michael and Donna's wedding. Vicky kept trying to distract him. Then, reaching for something, she fell out of bed. She giggled a lot. Rachel heard and pretty accurately guessed the situation, although I don't think she thought of Vicky.

Mac came downstairs. Rachel told him Jamie had seemed to be with a woman. Mac said it was none of their business. Rachel said it was still pretty horrible Jamie couldn't last a week without Lisa. Oh, Rachel does suspect Victoria. She didn't tell Mac.

Nicole brought Donna's dress over.

Lisa saw Vicky wearing only a man's shirt trying to make breakfast for Jamie. She hesitated and then turned and walked away.

Jason left. Mary's awkwardness subsided somewhat. She asked John about his reaction to Mikey. John said he just didn't do well with little kids. He seemed uncomfortable. When she asked if he knew something about Mikey he said "NO" too quickly and too loudly. Silence. John said he'd seen too many little kids suffer. Mary talked about post traumatic stress disorder. John refused to discuss it. Mary left.

Mac and Rachel and Michael discussed Drew. Michael said Mac couldn't wait for him to return from his honeymoon. Mac and Rachel wished him luck.

Vicky and Jamie arrived at the hospital together. Vicky assured Jamie she wouldn't pressure him, which is very insidious, whether she knows it or not. There is very little more subversive than Another Woman who will gladly do anything a man wants in order to captivate him. Do such creatures exist in nature? Lisa appeared as Vicky kissed Jamie on the cheek. Vicky greeted Lisa civilly. She told her about Michael and Donna's wedding and asked her to come. She went to see Mary. Lisa was petulant. Jamie tried to make Lisa feel in the wrong and stomped off. Lisa ran into Adam, who said she was the answer to a prayer.

Mary tried to reassure Vicky about foster homes. She encouraged her to talk about feeling unwanted.

Donna assured Nicole she wouldn't have to make her another wedding dress as long as she lived. Nicole hid the dress when Michael came in. Donna told Michael he wouldn't be allowed to do business on the honeymoon. He wanted to know what he would do if he got bored. Kissing.

Lisa was abstracted. Adam asked if she'd gone away because of him. She assured him she hadn't. He had mixed emotions about that. She said they could work together. He suggested she come to the wedding with him. She accepted. He asked what Jamie would say. She said not to worry. Mary brought Mikey in and introduced him to Lisa. Lisa held him but was unable to get a clear impression. She did say she didn't think Mikey was from Bay City. Mary said his clothes had been from New York City.

Jason told Felicia he'd decided to cancel the barn dance because Jamie disapproved. He decided to look up Vicky and left. "What are you up to, Mr. Frame?" said Felicia, not having noticed Kevin standing there. When she did notice him, they chatted. Kevin's mother has been dead a while. He has a sister, Tracy. He is at Matthew's boarding school on a scholarship his father would rather he didn't have. Felicia told him the Corys were wonderful people and he should encourage Matthew to confide in his family.

Lisa tried to get away when Jamie appeared while she was talking to Adam. Jamie had Adam leave them alone. Jamie: you look at me like I'm some kind of Strange Object. Lisa: I'm very tired. Jamie told Lisa that her note had given him the impression she might not come back. She was surprised and confused. Jamie walked off. Lisa told Adam about her surprise and confusion.

Jason took credit for the fact that Vicky had got Jamie into bed. She wasn't inclined to help him. She put him off. He wasn't pleased.

Matthew talked with Kevin. He assured him he wouldn't tell. Kevin said maybe he should to avoid messing up his family.

Cass is giving Donna away. Blech. Donna and Nicole are waiting for Vicky.

Vicky ran into Mary and Mikey. A social worker came to claim him. Vicky took Mikey from Mary and tried to escape.
