Nicole told Donna Cass had slept in the other room. When Cass came in she hung up the phone. He complimented her on her pyjamas and then, with the air of one who knows he shouldn't but can't help himself, asked if Drew had bought them for her. He tried to escape, but Nicole said he wasn't going anywhere until they talked.
Mac gave Michael a gift to be opened on the honeymoon. Michael told him that he and Cass suspected that the takeover was headed in Bay City. It's pretty tangled.
Rachel found Matthew wasn't at Mitch's. Mitch was surprised Matthew wasn't at the Corys. Rachel got upset. Matthew and Kevin arrived. Rachel yelled at Matthew. Mitch took Rachel aside and advised her to calm down and let him handle it. He promised to keep her informed. She left. Mitch demanded answers.
Cass and Nicole argued. She suggested he couldn't stand her being financially independent. He scoffed, saying she was in debt to a shark in a Brooks Brothers suit. She said Drew was too dull to be a shark. They became friendly again. Mac phoned and asked Cass to rush over. Cass agreed. Nicole was not the least bit understanding.
Vicky answered a summons from Jason. He asked her to persuade Jamie to cough up Frame Construction. He offered to steer Jamie in her direction. He bragged about the Frame family. He suggested she mentioned the barn dance to Jamie.
Cass told Mac he'd make sense of Drew's list of names. Michael said Drew had returned to Bay City around the time Mac's troubles began. Infiltrate Drew.
Vicky told Jamie about the barn dance. Jamie got mad because Jason was taking the name for granted. He told Vicky it was none of her business. He thought it was nice she visited Mikey and bought him things. Felicia walked past and saw a Vicky showing Jamie the books she'd bought.
Felicia teased Sam and Amanda. He commented he even missed Amanda's cooking. He is anxious to be released. Felicia had brought a painting. She asked Sam to sell her paintings for Tops. He refused. She told him all kinds of stories about the relatives of famous artists who displayed the artist's work in their diners. Sam agreed to consider it. Felicia left. Amanda encouraged Sam to accept. Sam said he didn't want charity. Kissing.
Mitch warned Matthew not to play him against Rachel. He pointed out that Matthew wanted to live with him because he was easygoing. Matthew complained that Rachel got uptight about everything. Mitch told him he was behaving badly and grounded him. Matthew sulked. Felicia came in. Mitch told her he was amazed at the amount of work that went into parenthood. He said Matthew thought only of himself. Felicia said she thought it was hormones. Mitch would rather Matthew had hormones that said "stop acting like a jerk." [Mitch was almost ANIMATED. He did a high-pitched hormone voice and moved his hand like a puppet sort of thing.] Felicia hugged him.
Rachel told Jamie her troubles. Jamie talked about the difficulty of having Mac as a not quite real father and about adolescent rebellion and Jason.
Nicole sketched. Cass pumped her about Drew, unsuccessfully. Nicole took great pleasure in informing Cass that she was having Drew over for dinner.
Michael ran into Victoria and Mikey and produced quarters from behind their ears. [Are men required to perfect this skill before they become fathers?] Mikey was impressed. "Money," he said. A nurse took him away. Michael looked after him with longing.
Jamie yelled at Jason about his father's name. Jason mentioned it was his own name.
Cass decided the dinner could be good for his infiltration purposes. Nicole returned from the kitchen and apologized, offering to cancel dinner. Cass, pretending to agree with her, was so obnoxious that he managed to offend Nicole to the point where she reinforced her invitation and encouraged champagne. Cass had mixed feelings.
Sam looked uncomfortable when Amanda mentioned his work. Felicia's painting appeared blurry to him. He didn't tell Amanda.
Jamie told Amanda Lisa hadn't written him but she'd written Adam. Something about her response made him interrogate her mercilessly until she told him what Vicky had told her about Adam and Lisa. [Actually she told him fairly readily. I was being facetious.] When he found out Vicky had told her he stomped off to yell at Vicky.
Nicole, wearing a tight pink dress, set the table. She thought about arguing with Cass. Cass came in to fetch his briefcase. He suggested her coq au vin was burning. When she rushed to the kitchen he put a bug in the centerpiece. [It was cute. James Bond music.] Nicole returned from the kitchen. "Nothing's burning. I'm having it catered." Cass pretended to leave but snuck upstairs. Nicole put on a little jacket.
Jamie confronted Vicky. He accused her of lying. She became upset because he believed in Lisa automatically because she was good. He accused her of having driven Lisa out of town. She denied it. She admitted she had contrived things to be near him and that she wanted him. He said he didn't want to hear it. She suggested that Adam and Lisa might have done more than kiss. He yelled "BITCH" and scared her so she tried to leave. He held the door shut and kissed her passionately. She responded.
Mac and Rachel visited Sam. Amanda told them about Felicia's offer. Sam said he'd think about it at home. He's being released tomorrow.
Nicole and Drew sipped champagne and reminisced about Paris. Cass listened and was sickened.
Jamie bent Vicky backward over the kitchen table. It looked fearfully uncomfortable to me, but she seemed to be enjoying it. They continued to kiss passionately.
