Cheryl dropped in on Mary all upset because Scott's bed hadn't been slept in. She said wildly that he had slept with Patricia. Scott appeared.
Nancy was brave. Tony was impressed. He added locks. She thought about the attack and looked at a slightly sordid newspaper story about it.
Donna threw herself at Michael's head. She succeeded.
Michael's bachelor party assembled. Everyone was surprised when Peter arrived. Dave cornered him and told him he'd loved Maisie and he was going to see her killer fry. His manner was pointed. Greg sort of crashed inadvertently. Jamie arrived. Greg brooded on Nancy's having gone so public about her living with that reporter.
Scott had spent the night on Mary's couch. Cheryl was mollified. She told Mary after Scott left that Trish had pursued him with great determination. Mary told her she was just jealous. Cheryl told her it was Over and explained the difficulty over sleeping. Mary tried to convince her not to give up. She said Scott was talking about leaving town. Cheryl left as Scott reappeared. She wished him happiness in his new life out of town. Mary told him he should think twice about leaving because Cheryl loved him.
Trish told Chad she was making great headway with Scott. Ada waited for Cheryl to relieve her so she could go to Donna's monsoon. She phoned Nancy. Nancy came over all peculiar. Tony had made her nervous when he returned unexpectedly. Felicia and Lisa arrived to get food. Felicia reminded Chad about the belly dancer Wallingford had ordered. He headed for Tops. Vince said the serial killer was hurting business.
Mary gave Scott several thousand good reasons for staying in Bay City, his natural parents among them. He said she was the only person he was close to. She told him not to run away. He said Vince hated him. She said Vince was right about Cheryl's being too young. She has led a sheltered life. She told him to try again. He fell for it. Mary cheered. ["I love it when I win."]
Donna and Michael were embarrassed when they were Found Out.
Nancy is getting used to life again.
Donna's monsoon assembled.
Mary told Vince the rent was due. He asked how she knew. She said she worked there. He said it was none of her business. She refused to tell him what she'd told Cheryl. They argued. Ada dragged her off to the monsoon. Trish attacked Scott and cheered when he said he was staying in town.
MJ fled Tops for the monsoon. Adam talked to Mac about the creepy paper coverage of the serial killer. Josephine "the entertainment" arrived. She looked a little too mousy for Wallingford's taste. He showed her to the dressing room but told her not to hurry. Greg and Dave and Peter have disappeared.
Nancy panicked. She screamed for help. Her attacker fled. She sobbed. Ada and Mary looked after her.
Mitch tried to tell a risqué story but made very little headway. Jamie made less with his. Adam trotted out to get a gift from his car. Wallingford hinted that people might be disappointed in Josephine. She was a hit.
Everyone was better than civil to Donna. The women had a good time. Rachel worried because Nancy and Ada hadn't arrived.
Trish told Cheryl it was due entirely to her influence that Scott was staying in Bay City.
Adam was told that the killer was on the elevator in the Love Tower. He dashed upstairs.
Cheryl was not civil when Scott expressed concern. He asked what was wrong. She asked him if he were staying in Bay City. He said he was. She returned his ring.
The women sang [Going to the Chapel etc] most tunefully. Quinn immediately depressed everyone by mentioning the killer. MJ told her she shouldn't panic. Ada and Mary and Nancy arrived and told them about the attack. Lisa felt guilty. She'd had a feeling but thought it was a memory. MJ went to look for Adam.
Adam and Tony broke up the bachelor party, saying the killer was in the room. Greg, Peter, Dave, Tony, and Chad are all present. How cute.
