ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

March 4, 1985

Kathleen dropped in on Donna. Asking for one more little favour.

Sandy wants to use Perry to get Carl. Jamie doesn't think they ought.

Carl wants Rachel to go somewhere with him. "You killed my sister," she said twice. (Just like the Wicked Witch of the West. "I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog, too.") He took her to a room where Nancy is lying feverish. She explained she fell down some stairs trying to escape him while blindfolded. Nancy says it hurts behind her eyes. Am I going to die, Rachel?

Cass needs more letters of recommendation.

Kathleen wants Donna to set up a meeting for Cass with Mrs. Royer. More attempts at blackmail. But this time Donna said no one would believe her. She was on about Kathleen being a tramp from the wrong side of the tracks. Kathleen sees red.

Carl wants Rachel to look after Nancy. He left. Rachel put a damp cloth on Nancy's forehead.

Jamie thinks they should tell the police about CLH. Sandy doesn't. Larry arrived. Sandy's going to fetch Perry. Jamie doesn't like the idea. "Jamie, if Perry can help us get to Carl I'm willing to use him any way I can."

Cass thanked Dee for saving him from Tony. Kathleen stormed in. Dee went to wash her hair. Kathleen raved about Donna Love snob to end all snobs. Cass doesn't want her to be upset. He's preventing her from going to work at Cory. She doesn't much mind.

Maisie's dying to see the wedding photos. Marley's not eager to see the ones she's in. Donna called to say Marley's Royer interview is at 4pm. She wanted Marley to rush home but Marley won't until after the lunch crowd.

Donna has to clean up.

Cass and Kathleen discussing class differences. This drifted into a discussion of New York. "Oh, right, hey, yes, Mr. Excitement himself (viz. Cass) scam of a lifetime, y'know, promises me big bucks and what do I get?" "Only my heart."

Felicia trying to bully Perry into breakfast with her & Wallingford. He agreed but Sandy breezed in and in a series of pointed comments intimated that he wanted Perry to himself. They left together.

"I can't see you Rachel, you're all blurry." Rachel tending to Nancy. She keeps saying she has to get her out of there (meanwhile Nancy's lying in agony and/or torment and Rachel says "Can you walk?" I died laughing.) Rachel stood on a chair and broke the skylight with the heel of her shoe.

Sandy explained to Perry they want to announce on the news that he'd been in a serious accident in hopes that Carl will flock to the hospital. Perry says that sounds dandy but Carl doesn't care about him. Sandy thinks it'll work so he'll let them. We'll see if he still cares. They set it up.

Carl returned and took Rachel away (to make her more compliant he sprayed her in the face with something) slung over his shoulder.

Sandy wants to examine the rest of Donna's paintings. Smirk, smirk.

Wallingford and Felicia overheard Marley telling Maisie about her Royer interview.

Jake arrived with the photos. Maisie's wild about one of Marley. Jake said he didn't think he'd done her justice. He didn't think there was a camera that could.

Busy Corys. Blaine and Larry stood about discussing Catlin and Sally and to a lesser extent Sandy's confusion. She hopes her marriage isn't in trouble but she doesn't know.

Donna talked about being lonely. Sandy asked if Carl could possibly be using any part of the estate. She panicked and said she was all alone. Sandy said she had truckloads of servants and Peter. She agreed with that but still wound up sitting with him holding her comfortingly. He says he feels very close to her. She spoke of fear. He reassured her.

Kathleen was on her way to Cory when Wallingford & Felicia returned. They told them about Mrs. Royer at Donna's at 4. Kathleen suggested Cass drop by. Felicia: Now, look, I don't want to put a damper on all this fun, but I don't think you just DROP IN at the Love castle. She has a whole bevy of servants who Love to keep the peasants out and as I recall a couple of them are kind of BIG and on the surly side. Kathleen assured Cass Donna's servants wouldn't bother him. Felicia: No, they'll probably just shoot you on sight. Kathleen convinced Cass.

Rachel wants to be with Nancy. She's afraid he'll kill her [Nancy]. Carl left her and put a gun in his pocket.

Marley left Smiley's for her interview. Jake's disappeared. Marley says he's nice.

Jake's sorting through the photos in his room. Pile of those of Marley. Pile of all the others.

Carl has taken his daughter Nancy to the hospital. The doctor left the room. Carl praised Nancy for her silence. Reminded her of his gun.

The doctor's looking for the paper with a picture of Carl as self.

Carl's being soothing. Holding Nancy's hand. Being in general dearly sweet at least as sweet as anyone so sinister can be.

I keep thinking Peter's argument against the wedding encompasses this horrible weather. Peter constantly at Sally's elbow advising her is not likely to make Catlin happy. Peter came to us from Edge of Night. The traumatized female was a really major person there from what I could gather. Catlin's casualties certainly has a nice ring to it but do you consider him a likely trauma-causing person?
