ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

June 4, 1987

Wallingford glowered at Felicia and asked what she meant to do about Dr Glaser. She refused to confide in him. He told her Mitch didn't think she should be seeing Gollum at all. This put Felicia's back up.

Michael and Donna made the most of their last night at home without rapists.

MJ found Adam all skeeved up to go undercover as Charlie, boat repairman. Adam is very confident.

Gollum assured his preciousss that nothing would stand in their way.

Adam made Lisa go home to relax and try to pick up Gollum's vibes. He told MJ and Val to dress as backup. He declared himself smarter than Gollum.

Felicia raved about Mitch's nerve. Jamie rolled up. Felicia became incoherent. Wally said something to Jamie about her changing her mind. Felicia threatened to serve him up on rice on a brochette. Wally scrammed. Jamie choked. He complained about Lisa's spending so much time at the police station. Felicia said she was worried about her. Lisa is the daughter she never had.

Bridget is making things comfy for John. She left Michael and Donna alone. Donna asked if Michael would let John go if he wanted to leave. Michael didn't seem to think anything would interfere with his plans. Felicia dropped by to donate champagne to the cause and drop back out. Bridget announced a nurse applicant. Felicia asked Donna what was up when Michael rushed to see the WAC. Donna said John would be sleeping two doors down.

Wally said Gollum was deluded. He expressed a desire for Mitch and Felicia to give in. Lisa came up and told Jamie all about Adam's doings and the Gollum tendencies being similar to her mother's. Jamie offered to help her relax. [Jamie makes me want to beat my head against concrete.] Dancing.

Charlie-Adam met Donald Miller and tried to decide whether he was Gollum. He had Val lead him away for questioning. Somebody shouted "hey, Charlie, over here." Mr. San Angelo in a wheelchair was unable to get down to the dock. Val took him away, too. Adam has hopes of Grunwald.

Felicia advised Donna to tell Michael. Donna referred again to what she and John had done. She cringed and cowered and was unable to say she could do it. Felicia then advised her to make tonight memorable. I could scream.

Lisa kept seeing the wedding dress. She felt that Gollum would hurt her. Jamie soothed her. He said they'd find the bride and warn her.

Adam did used that Grunwald had been and gone. He found a note reminding him the game was over. The note was from paper from a pad with impressions from heavy writing from above.

Felicia told Donna about Dr Glaser's ring while she helped her set up candles and things. I was revolted. Michael appeared, having hired the WAC. Felicia fled. Michael appreciated all the romantic touches.

Lisa fretted. Jamie soothed. Lisa got no sense of the bride's identity. Gollum phoned Wally to make sure Felicia was on her way and ask after Lisa. Wally very obligingly informed him that Lisa and Jamie were right there.

Gollum is not overfond of Jamie. He assured his precious that Jamie would be disposed of. The pad had doodles on. Adam gave the paper to Val to have inspected. As a clue, its terrif.

Felicia returned to Tops and fussed over Lisa. She instructed Wally to feed Jamie and Lisa. Wally was too unsubtle in his dislike of Gollum.

Michael described the drill-sergeant nurse to Donna. He also described John's softer side. Donna told him she loved him and had something she had to tell him. He told her she'd been through a lot and they could talk about it later. Then he asked what was bothering her. She said something about their not having any time alone. He promised they would.

Felicia delayed leaving. She became defensive when Wally pestered her about Gollum. She phoned him to suggest they meet somewhere less desolate and creepy. Gollum convinced her that pier 18 was the place. She gave in.

Gollum appreciated Felicia's making everything so easy. Dum dum da dum. Dum dum da dum.

Lisa and Jamie danced. [Or did Gollum fantasize?]

Gollum bided his time.

Adam discovered that Grunwald had to be it. The ski mask they'd found was known to be sold in a store with three outlets — one of them in Rockford, Illinois. Adam recalled that Lisa was from there. [What kind of store fails signally to be in anything approaching a major city like that? It seems warped.]
