ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

November 3, 1987

Amanda asked Sam why he'd tried to get rid of her.

Michael dispensed with the bathrobe. And so it goes.

Nicole loved the yacht. The guests arrived and found them in a staged kiss. Nicole thought the kiss was excessive. Mac told Rachel not to jump to any conclusions about Cass and Nicole's relationship. When Mitch and Felicia arrived they cast off.

Adam told Henry Michael Hudson was the woman's husband. Henry clammed up. Adam threatened to run him in. Henry protested that he couldn't do that, he was only a witness. Adam told him he'd be amazed at what he could do. [I must have taken that the wrong way, because I laughed.] Henry insisted on talking to Michael. He asked to be allowed to change first. [He used to be a stockbroker, he claims, and knew Michael. He would rather not let him see him in the depths to which he has fallen.] Adam turned him over to Val.

Amanda yelled at Sam. He apologized and told her she was the best assistant he'd ever had but professional respect was as deep as it went. He suggested they go back to his loft and work. They got soaked.

The party viewed Chicago. Cass nibbled Nicole's neck. Rachel and Mac wondered about Amanda.

Sam lit a fire. Amanda took off her jacket. Sam told her it was possible to see through her blouse. [It was not, in actual fact, but far be it from me to hinder their storyline. Suspension of disbelief.] She crossed her arms over her chest. He was embarrassed. He wouldn't let her go in case she caught cold. He found things for her to wear. She put them on. He spread her clothes out to dry and remarked on the expensive-looking labels.

Michael and Donna are looking ahead to a blissful future. Bridget knocked on the door. Michael got up. Bridget told him Sgt Cory was downstairs, being urgent. Michael said he'd be right down. He got dressed without telling Donna why.

Bridget fussed over Adam, because he was soaked. She went to make him tea. Michael appeared. Adam told him they might have found a lead.

Amanda disturbed Sam by wearing only a shirt. He asked how she could afford expensive clothes. She said they were only cheap knockoffs. He disapproved of her wanting to look rich. She told him not to be so down on rich people.

The engine on the yacht is down. They are drifting. There's nothing to be done. Cass went to look at the lifeboat. It holds seven. There are nine of them, including the captain.

Adam told Michael about Henry. Val delivered Henry. Michael recognized him. Adam rebuked Val. Sometime between the time Adam left him and the time he arrived he [Henry] had become plastered. Bridget went to fetch a soberer-upper.

Nicole insisted on staying with Cass. The party is over. Exit the guests. Rumours should start flying, if Cass' plan goes.

Amanda admired Sam's work. He admired her organization and determination.

Nicole was nervous. Cass was relaxed.

Sam told Amanda that as a 12-year-old he'd laughed at Nudes, and a painting by Mancini had changed his life.

Bridget forced stuff down Henry's throat until he insisted he was sober. Michael asked him what he'd seen. Henry said he was sorry. Michael had Adam leave them alone. Henry said he'd seen Donna go on a boat and wait for the man who owned it.

Donna dreamed of a new beginning and pummeled Michael's pillow.

Nicole assured Cass that she was coping. He told her when they were married he wouldn't kiss her in public any more. He had to remind her they wouldn't be sleeping in the same room. She proposed.
