Ada told Mary her headaches were caused by the explosion. Jason told Mary she could be getting her memory back.
Michael and Donna wound up in bed. They said they loved each other.
Brava raved about Nicole's designs. Cass toasted her. That Old Carrot came up to Tops and vowed to prevent her going to Monte Carlo. He played innocent when the gang accused him of having malicious intentions. Mitch announced that Sam had just called to say he was engaged to Amanda. Everyone was surprised.
Mary told Jason that getting her memory back meant more to her than getting revenge on That Old Carrot. Enter Adam. He reported that the guy from yesterday's fingerprints had matched those all over the places ransacked lately in Jason's vicinity. Adam suggested that Jason might know what he'd been looking for.
Michael and Donna were not as amusing as they could have been. All is suddenly right with the world. They ordered Chinese.
Sam and Amanda's wedding is to be in two weeks. Felicia let it slip that Amanda was pregnant. Mitch suggested they make it a double ceremony. Felicia vetoed it. Cass and Nicole left. Felicia and Mitch discussed Sam and Amanda. Felicia seemed oddly fond of babies. Mitch looked thoughtful.
That Old Carrot learned that Northrop was in jail and ordered that he be prevented from talking.
Adam linked Northrop to That Old Carrot. He asked Jason what That Old Carrot would be looking for. Adam was notified by phone that Northrop wanted to come clean and rushed off to hear it. Vince asked Mary what she knew. She said she couldn't tell him. He told her not to play him for a fool again. It occurred to Jason that That Old Carrot might be so flustered by recent events that he would let something slip. He phoned and arranged to meet with him. Mary was apprehensive. She went and gazed at the photo of Vince. Vince appeared and apologized for yelling. She told him about her memory flash.
Michael produced his guitar and sang "Donna." She appreciated it. She promised no more tricks. He said maybe someday things could be the way they used to be.
Jason made blackmailing noises to That Old Carrot. He suggested that the evidence he [Carrot] was after would come to light if he [Jason] were killed. That Old Carrot ordered him out.
The evidence must be Elizabeth's watch. Cass told Nicole her mother would be proud of her. Nicole decided to use the watch in her show. Cass complimented her and collapsed on his bed. Nicole went to take a bath. Having turned on the taps she went on into her room. Cass found the water running and murmured the word thoughtful a great many times. He poured in bubble bath and retreated to his own room.
Vince got excited. Mary was afraid to hope. Vince resigned himself. Mary gazed at the picture. Ada told her that Cheryl had produced it only that morning. Mary realized that she hadn't seen it before the flash.
Nicole was delighted to find the bubbles.
Donna's robe is the same colour as Michael's. She told him his perfection made her feel she had to be perfect. [The pressure drove her to desire his brother, maybe.] Michael was moderately astonished. Passionate kissing was interrupted by a phone call from Adam. He insisted Michael come to the station. Donna was chagrined.
Mitch asked Felicia if she wanted to have a baby. She hedged. He pinned her down until she admitted to a vague someday desire. She asked what he wanted. He proposed taking one day at a time.
Cass discarded his robe and was surprised to find Nicole in the tub.
Northrop has agreed to talk to Michael. Adam had to rush to see to a stabbing in a jail cell.
That Old Carrot received word that his orders had been carried out.
Cass resumed his robe. Nicole eyed him apprehensively. He insisted it was his bath. She said she'd figured it was for her because of the bubbles. He was affronted because of this sexist distinction. She offered to get out. He beat a hasty retreat, muttering about cold showers.
Mary insisted that doctors had said she wouldn't regain her memory. Ada advised her to get a second opinion. Mary asked her not to tell Vince. She wept a little. Jason dashed in in good spirits.
Northrop murmured "watch ... watch ... Reginald" before expiring. Michael took it to be an imperative rather than a common noun.
