This hiking trail has been on my list for about 15 years ever since I read about it. It is just one of those trips that
never materialized because there was always something else going on. My friend Paul proposed doing it for the spring of
2022 as an ACC Ottawa trip, and I immediately signed up. Four others, Paul D, Qudoos, Simon, and Melanie also signed
up which was the maximum group size the park allows.
Beautiful campsites, endless quartzite ridges, and even a mini-mountain
summit gives this trail my vote as a classic Ontario hike. For a province better known for its paddling routes this one is
well worth doing.
