That night I practiced some more on the bike & adjusted the gears. The next morning I rode back to the bike shop to get a clip carrier put on and at Uncle Roy's suggestions I asked the shop keeper about insurance. He sent me down the road to an insurance place, they were shut but I saw another. They couldn't help me, but sent me to another even farther down the road in Hornchurch where I eventually got it insured.

I got back about 11:30 in the morning & immediately left with Roger (who managed to get the day off) in his car for a trip around Kent. We went to [Canterbury Cathedral], Dover, around the coast through Deal & saw two or three castles & of course the white cliffs. Unfortunately it was very hazy & we couldn't see much of the view.

When we got back, we spent the evening fixing lights on the bike & packing etc. Roger also showed me his trains which are still not finished but they run right around the attic.
