How to display a web page on your Desktop

  1. First, minimize all open applications so you can see your Windows Desktop.
  2. Right-click on the Desktop; select Properties.
  3. Select the Desktop tab.
  4. Select Customize Desktop button.
  5. Open the Web tab and select New.
  6. Type in the exact URL copied from your browser. For example:
    - page on your local drive:   C:\MyWebsite\links.html
    - page from the Web:   http://manotick.net/events.html

If you click on links on this 'desktop' web page, it will open your default web browser to display it.

You may right click on the Desktop page to remove it.
Using the same procedure above, you can check the item to turn it back on.
