Today was a classroom day. We spent the morning talking about leadership styles, conflict resolution, and finished
with some map and compass work. After lunch we tied some purcell prussiks and then went out to the boulder field to
practice some rescue systems. This was a revelation to me, as the purcell prussik is not only useful as a personal
anchor system, it also makes a fantastic load transfer device for rescue work. Today was the first (and only) day we
were not late for dinner. After supper we spent an evening session talking about electronic communications systems, and
in particular detail VHF radios as Cyril has quite an interest in these as a ham radio operator.
As far as we got from camp today.
