This bed requires only a mallet to assemble or dis-assemble. We use mortise and tennon joins for the footboard and headboard. Iron slot and hook hardware is used for the bed rails. This bed can be purchased in any size, and is made for use with only a mattress - a box spring is not required. It is also available with testers (small wood rails that stretch between the tops of the posts - used to hang bedcurtains). Stands 84" tall.
