During the summer of 2004
Coney Hatch got back to together with original members Carl Dixon, Steve
Shelski, Dave "Thumper" Ketchum, and Mike Hall (Killer Dwarfs) for 2
reunion concerts on two continents. They played in Oslo Sweden at the Sweden
Rock Festival and in Kingston Ontario at Cocamos. I was there for the Kingston
show and did a review.
I was at the show last night in Kingston (August 13th, 2004). The lineup
was Steve Shelski, Carl Dixon, Dave (Thumper) Ketchum and Mike Hall on bass. The guys really started to rock out after they got warmed up. The
only down part was the number of people who showed up. I would guess less than
a hundred. The band did come over to the merchandise table right after the
show and signed my cool Coney Hatch T shirt “two shows, two continents”).
I asked Carl how Sweden was and he said it was a blast. Said the folks from
Sweden said “We wait for 20 years for you to come!” Carl said he had been
there before but the band never made it over there. The set list in no
particular order was: (what I can remember). BTW, The Kings opened the show
(Switching to Glide).
