This data contains genealogical information about my family [DENIS]
and those families with which it is associated.

The information is the result of many years research
by many people too numerous to mention.

I have volunteered to act as secretary and
data entry clerk for this effort
and ask you to please be patient with
my typing speed [slow] and accuracy [questionable].

Any mistakes probably result from my data entry errors.

However, if any of you spot an error,
or wish to contribute additional information,
let me know, and I promise to include your changes
as quickly as I can :-).

It will be easier for me if you include the word "TREE"
in the subject line of your message.

If you mention specific people
already in the data base,
telling me the two numbers displayed
in front of the person's name
would be a great help.

The first of these numbers is a unique identifier [assigned my me]
and permits me to distinguish between persons
who have identical names [e.g. Clifton BROWN];
and the second number tells me
on which page the person's name appears.

The genealogical information is for anyone's use and enjoyment.

This is our family.

If you have additional information
missing from this data,
please tell me
[give your sources if you can]
and I will add it to the tree :-).

In this way, it may become of even more
interest to you and yours.

Who knows - one of our grand-children might
