T.A. Jobateh - Writing stuff

Like many people I know, I have been "writing" all my life in the day to day activities of making lists, leaving notes, writing letters and documenting procedures. When life became very difficult for me in the mid-1990's, I used writing as an outlet. Even if I didn't always share my corny poetry or childlike observations, the act of writing them down gave me some release, some satisfaction.

After a horrible experience in late 2003 and even before my hands had fully healed, I began writing again in journals of recovery and re-discovery. To me, writing is a way of expressing. Writing is an outlet and a form of therapy. Writing is a way to share thoughts and dreams with others as you try to make sense and make your way through this earthly existence.
