ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

October 30, 1984

Cass took Wallingford "out to dinner to celebrate his return" (Wallingford: I've been back a week. Cass: I've been busy. [OK].) Needless to say Cass was really just watching Kathleen.

The as yet unseen McKinnon is called Cheryl. MJ was much alarmed to see Tony Jones. She collared Kathleen and told her who he is: Tony the Tuna, loan shark extraordinaire.

Jamie tried to convince Sandy to sit with them but he said Blaine and he had something to talk about. (He is afraid that if they get too friendly with Mac he won't be able to get as much of Carl's trust.)

Sandy is sort of trying to cause trouble with Blaine. He asked her to trust him and not move back in right away.

Kathleen didn't want to believe MJ but she is forced to. Kathleen: Cass Winthrop I'm going to murder you.

Hunt has a flask under his numerous draperies. Marley commended him for the way he reacted when he found out about the trick. He called Skip a jerk. He says perhaps he is one as well.

Lily's destroying swizzle sticks. She's nervous.

Wallingford says there's a meat truck disguised as a man outside. Good old Tony Jones' personal bodyguard. Name of Rocco. Wallingford finds him utterly charming. Wallingford doesn't know how a girl like Kathleen got mixed up with a creep like Tony. Cass didn't say.

Kathleen wanted to leave but the Corys invited her and Tony to their table and she was forced to listen to Lily sing.

Lily was pleased to see Grant walk in but then Quinn came in right behind him. Lily was unthrilled. She didn't sing so good neither. They said she was great and I think they meant it.

Kathleen tried to leave again (pleading a headache as before) but she was not let go by Tony Jones. MJ finds him slimy.

Nancy is raving about how awful the party is. Perry said some nice things about spending time with her. (o what is this world coming to?) Hunt is not quite sober. He has taken to conjugating amo (this is a step up from aimer, all right.) He also wants the Latin word for orgy. The preppies are running him down. Marley suspects he's been drinking. (Buffy and Deirdre arguing about which one of them thought he was cute once.) Ben knows he's been drinking. Skip was extremely rude to the maid. He suggested she get them a six-pack of beer. Perry ordered him out of the house . All of the preppies, too. (Perry was magnificent. He didn't hit anyone, either.)

Grant was sincerely appreciative of Lily's singing talent.

Kathleen managed to get away from the dinner but Tony is taking her home. Kathleen: Cass Winthrop I'm going to murder you. Good for Kathleen. Cass could do with a little murdering. It's a good sign that it occurred to her twice for the same reason. Tony took Kathleen to Cecile's . Cass prevented him from kissing her goodnight and he's none too pleased. Kathleen: don't you touch me. Don't you even come near me. how could you do that? How could you do that? Cass: you found out. Kathleen: you set me up with a loan racketeer. Cass: no. With a man you thought was loaded with money. Anyway Kathleen was hysterical and Cass tried to calm her down. She said she really hates the way he's doing it all for her. Cecile. She walked out.

Tom feels sorry for Hunt. she is not mad at Carter, though . Marley and Hunt have disappeared. Hunt is lying on the hood of his car with the intention of driving home. Marley wants Ben to drive him. Hunt claims to be a Roman god (he's also speaking in a funny British accent.) Ben left to get something and Hunt crawled around into the front seat. Marley wants his flask. He thinks she hates him. She said she hates to see him unhappy. He started up the car (just let's go once around the Coliseum.)

Cass thought about Cecile. He decided it wasn't worth putting them all in danger for Cecile. She tried to call again but he'd just gone so no one answered. Rachel's trying to get Jamie married off. She thinks he needs a wife. (You were none too fond of Blaine, dearest.)

Hunt just smashed into Mac and Rachel coming home.

There must be something about Jamie that brings out the beast in his wives. Blaine was weird after being married to him for a while, and Cecile tried to poison him. There's obviously something wrong with the man.

Perry seems so young. Golly.
