ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

December 30, 1987

Nicole got some models of her own. She told Cass she was replacing his. He had a fit.

Jamie and Lisa joined Rachel at the farm. Rachel told them she wanted to buy it for Jamie. Lisa loved it. Jamie was stunned. Rachel told him Jason wanted it.

Mary got upset with Jason for alluding to a past she couldn't remember. He apologized. She was not appeased. Vince appeared. Mary left for work.

Jamie never knew Jason well. Rachel showed him some photographs. She and Lisa discussed renovations eagerly. Jamie looked ill at ease. Lisa asked if he wanted to live there.

Nicole said models were a creative thing. Cass said her wasting money was stupid. All the models left when the fight got going. Cass said they would do better to discuss before acting. They realized they needed more models. They decided to get only one. Donna ran in to say she'd found a great room for her office. Cass was not pleased. Donna told him she had organizational ability and contacts. Enter Michael. He got a few moments alone with Donna. He said he admired her determination but she should always remember there was a right way and a wrong way to achieve any goal.

Jamie found fault with the house. Lisa did not conceal her desire to have it. He told her about Rachel and Russ and Steve. He said he wished he'd known his Frames better. Lisa suggested he talk to Jason.

Jason chatted with Vince. John was a sort of poker protegé of his. [I imagine he must be a raping scum himself.] Vince asked why he'd come back.

Donna dropped leaden hints about New Year's. Michael left the room. That Old Carrot came across Donna alone. He was sympathetic about her living alone and being pregnant. She told him Michael was moving back in because she'd had the paternity test done and he knew he was the father.

Lisa asked Jamie why he was being so negative about the house.

Ada yelled at Vince to help her. He went into the kitchen. Ada hinted to Jason he shouldn't buy the farm. Mary came back in for some change. Jason asked her to forgive him. She did. He left.

Michael overheard Donna telling That Old Carrot that he'd forgiven her everything. That Old Carrot told her she was deluding herself and asked to hear it from Michael's lips. Michael lied for her. That Old Carrot pacifically assured them he didn't need to see the tests for himself. Enter Nicole. That Old Carrot congratulated her. She did not jump up and down. Enter Cass. He regretfully told That Old Carrot that they weren't making dresses suitable for vegetables, but if he'd leave his measurements he'd see what he could do. Exit That Old Carrot. The gang fought down giggles until he was out of earshot. Cass and Nicole went off to discuss business. Donna thanked Michael for backing her up. She admitted she hadn't had the test because Jamie said it was dangerous. She said she would have it after the baby was born, or he could just believe her now. He was stunned and amused by her simplification of the whole affair.

Lisa suggested that Jamie had a problem with them. She admitted she'd been reading marriage into things. He felt guilty but pointed out he'd been married twice disastrously and he wasn't ready. She pretended it didn't matter.

Ada said bad things about Steve. Rachel did not appreciate it. She feels Jamie is more entitled than Jason to the farm. Ada asked if she wanted to start something. Jamie came in alone. He told Rachel he didn't think he could afford the house. She asked if Lisa's enthusiasm was the problem. He admitted the house together would form a constructing bond he couldn't manage. Rachel understood. He expressed a desire to get to know Jason. Rachel warned him Jason was nothing like Steve.

Jason attended a poker game. That Old Carrot arrived and stared at him.

Michael told Donna he had plans for New Year's. She assured him she did too. She said she hadn't received the final divorce papers yet. He assured her he wasn't delaying them. Cass and Nicole appeared. Cass took Michael off to talk business. Donna asked Nicole whom she could get to take her out New Year's Eve.

Lisa joined Jamie in Mary's Place. She said she didn't want him to think she was pushing him. He said he loved her.

Donna convinced herself that Michael wouldn't go through with the divorce. Nicole had doubts. Donna phoned Charles McBride.

That Old Carrot lost his appetite for poker at the sight of Jason.
