Adam and Sam left together. Adam assured him it was probably a mistake, Loretta's being arrested. Sam said it wasn't a mistake, it was shoplifting.
Jason told Mary he was moving out to the farm. She thanked him for helping with her memory. He said she should show her gratitude by buying him dinner.
Nicole couldn't keep her head down. She was too busy freaking out.
Mary succumbed. Jason set about trying to pick a decent restaurant while she went to change. When Vince came in he was civil to Jason. With That Old Carrot gone he's hoping for another chance with Mary. He's been to visit MJ. Mary welcomed him back.
Adam realized it had happened before. Amanda came out into the hall. Sam didn't tell her what was up. He and Adam fled.
Cass had been thrown from the plane. Nicole came to and called for help. Cass came to and noticed smoke issuing from a crack in the airplane. Nicole collapsed. Cass pried the door open and went in screaming "Kathleen." He helped Nicole out and carried her some distance from the plane. He went back for the pilot and the guard but the plane blew up.
Loretta denied everything but being forgetful. She was unconvincing. When Adam arrived she tried to charm him into submission. He looked lovely but unmoved. He sent Sam in. Sam refused to be bamboozled. He told Loretta this was why he hadn't wanted her at his wedding. Loretta looked dignified and tried to make Sam feel guilty. He told her he wanted her to leave.
Mary looked at photos of MJ. Jason forfeited his dinner date and left. Vince assured Mary MJ was fine. He had photos of the restaurant. He was pleased she remembered he'd always taken a lot of photos. He said MJ was still a little worried about Adam.
Lisa and Jamie cleaned up. Lisa told Jamie about her suspicions regarding Vicky. He scoffed. She persisted. He insisted he wasn't interested in Vicky. Lisa said he should tell Vicky that. He said there were too many bad things going on in Vicky's life for him to cast her adrift.
Sam couldn't get through to Loretta. She said she loved him. She wouldn't admit the shoplifting was anything but a mistake. As she was telling Sam to say goodbye to Amanda for her Amanda herself walked in.
Cass tried to bring Nicole to with reassuring words. She asked if they were dead. He said not. He held her close. Her head hurt. She worried about the pilot and the guard. Cass said they should look for shelter. Nicole was too weak to walk. Cass promised to take care of her.
Lisa pointed out that she had more justification in being jealous of Vicky than he had in being jealous of André. He said he thought Vicky was just friendly. Quoth Lisa "with friends like that, who needs lovers?" Jamie insisted he loved Lisa and had no interest in anyone else.
Adam asked Amanda to leave. He told Loretta the store manager had agreed to drop charges if she would promise never to enter his store again. Loretta promised without admitting guilt. She left to pack. Amanda stopped her in the hall and tried to convince her not to leave town. Loretta fled. Amanda appealed to Sam. He dragged her along after him.
Vince had had to drive through Wisconsin on his way back from MJ. He and Mary reminisced a little. He held her hand hopefully.
When she and Sam got home Amanda insisted they discuss Loretta. He told her it was none of her business. She yelled at him. She pointed out that they were getting married soon. He was adamant. She yelled at him because he hadn't opened the present his mother had bought for him. That was Too Much for Sam. He flung the box across the room and yelled that she hadn't bought it, she had stolen it. Amanda stared.
Cass arranged palm fronds into a roof. Nicole wept for her ruined dresses. Cass wouldn't let her help. In her mind she heard him screaming "Kathleen." He covered her with a blanket and sat next to her. He told her the pilot was dead and the security guard had disappeared. The radio is not much good. Cass had to comfort Nicole. He assured her someone would find them or they'd find someone. Tomorrow. It started to pour rain. Cass' shelter didn't keep them from getting wet.
Amanda convinced Sam to tell her about the stealing. Loretta had started giving him gifts after a rich guy had dumped her and Sam had stopped her committing suicide. He's spent years bailing her out, returning things. Amanda suggested counseling. He said Loretta wouldn't even admit she had a problem. Sam refuses to be responsible for Loretta any more. Amanda said he still loved Loretta.
Cass and Nicole huddled together. He said he'd used to sing himself to sleep when he was scared. They sang a lullaby. She fell asleep. Cass found blood on his hand.
