ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

June 28, 1985

Mac doesn't like Rachel's wanting to move into the old house.

Cass is driven buggy by the lack of Felicia and Michaud.

"Look at me, look at my soggy feathers," wailed Felicia. Daphne appeared and laughed at her. Michaud said he'd take her home to change. Daphne objected. Michaud paid her no heed. She was put out.

Larry called Jimmy and Polo a couple of jerks. Laughing.

Michaud in the car said he was having fun and she [Felicia] was beautiful. They're getting along swimmingly.

Mac: Why is your answer to everything these days moving out of the house? Rachel: I want to live there, Mac, I think it will bring my memory back. Mac: Well how will living with your husband and your children in your own home prevent that? I mean you can spend as much time there as you want. Rachel: You really don't understand, do you? Mac: I'll BUY you the house. Rachel: Is that your answer to everything, to BUY me something? Would you buy me my memory if you could? Mac: That's not fair. Rachel: No, that wasn't. But it SOUNDED awfully good. Mac: I think we should let the topic rest. Rachel: Right. Pause. Mac: Read any good books lately? Rachel: Look Homeward Angel, A House Is Not A Home, -- Mac: Oh, STOP it. Rachel: . . . Remembrance of Things Past ...

Peter tried to sell Daphne on Brava. He didn't do well. She left. Kathleen: Real smooth, Peter, real smooth. Peter: I didn't see you doing so well. Kathleen: I didn't think it was the time or the PLACE. Peter: And when would that be, pray tell? Kathleen: When she isn't surrounded by other magazines, when we can show her what kind of help WE can be. Peter: Oh, it's just difficult doing business with a woman. Kathleen: Oh, Peter. I wish you hadn't said that. Peter: Not you, Kathleen, you're DIFFERENT -- ububub -- Kathleen: One of the guys, huh? Peter: That's -- not -- what I meant either -- Kathleen: The problem is I know exactly what you meant. Peter: Kathleen -- Kathleen: STUPID MAN. She turned on her heel and bashed into an attractive man. They were very polite to each other and mildly interested-seeming.

Larry told them he had men with rifles beyond a double window and further men in the hall. Jimmy was incredulous but Larry was nonchalant and suggested they put their guns down. It's your move, Jimmy.

Brittany's in Dry Creek with Mrs Tillis she used to know. Took care of Britt as a little girl. Britt's getting her thoughts straight. Mrs Tillis says most of the people were afraid of her before. Nothing stops her. Britt says Catlin loves somebody else and what they had was all in the past. Sage Mrs Tillis told her not to presume to know the future. Britt has decisions to make. Mrs Tillis put "You're Always On My Mind" on the record player. If you ask me she's encouraging foolishness on Britt's part.

Polo was apprehensive. Larry told Jimmy to take the little bag of drugs to Tommy Lee and he'd set up a meeting with him. Jimmy decided to listen to him. Larry waved a kerchief about signalling to his imaginary men that Jimmy and Polo were to be allowed to leave in five minutes and left.

Felicia got cleaned up and changed. Monsieur's favourite movie iswas Casablanca. As Michaud said to Felicia "This could be the start of a beautiful friendship." They left.

Daphne's warding off the press regarding Michaud's private life. Michaud called to say they were on their way. He's not letting on to Felicia that he knew her. She asked how he knew Monsieur in seclusion but he avoided the question neatly. And subtly.

Larry returned home and found Catlin waiting in the dark in a chair for him. Demanding answers. Offering to beat sense into him. "We're going to talk." "No no. You're going to lecture and I'm going to be bored." Catlin told him he was being a jerk. Larry told him he could live without his advice. Catlin said he couldn't see what was happening. Larry said he didn't have to he was getting a play-by-play from him and Clarice. Larry told him to leave and he bored him. Catlin left (parting shot: "At least I don't have to feel sorry for you. You've got that covered all by yourself.") Larry suffered remorse.

Britt's been looking at the graveyard to take a gander at her tombstone and Daddy's and Evan's and Willa's. She's decided to go back to Bay City to investigate Willa and divorce but pursue Catlin. ("If he don't think I'm his wife then I'm not . . . I still want him to love me. You don't think it would be wrong to try to get him back, do you?" I DO. Wickedness abounds.)

Grant's angina's acting up a bit. Quinn's concerned. He's being brave and not making a fuss.

Rachel kept on about the memory. Mac was reluctant but she convinced him. He suggested she wait until he'd flown in a bigshot California doctor. She agreed on condition she be allowed to move out if he didn't work. He kissed her. "Oooh, you're good," she said, impressed.

Unveiling of the model of the Lesoleil complex.

Jimmy explained all to Tommy Lee. He's going to check Larry's stuff.

Clarice got home and suggested Larry move out.

Michaud announced Cass would be searching for the American Lesoleil Woman. Such the accent. Cass told Lily and Wally he'd been the reason Lesoleil was locating in Bay City. They thought of other more important ones. Quinn wants to construct. Kathleen was introduced to Daniel Gabriel, architect and attractive man at large. She was impressed. He knows she's Irish.

Larry pleaded. She fussed about the other woman and the lies. The lies are worse. He said he loved her. She's not sure of that. He begged. She amended his sentence to sleeping on the couch when he (crushed) said he'd go. She went to fetch bedding.

Larry's Willa's stuff checks out. Tommy Lee intends to buy it any price and do away with beloved Ewing.

Michaud knows Rachel's work. Michaud: If one knows beauty, one knows Miss Davis' work. Rachel: Well, it's LOTS of fun talking to you. Mac offered any help he wanted.

Cass is sneaking about asking questions about the architect. Disparaging his work. Damning with faint praise.

Michaud is afraid of Felicia's reaction when he TELLS HER.
