Felicia's agonizing over clothes. Kathleen arrived and asked what was going on with all the clothes. Wally said the dry cleaners were having a special this week. "Oh, really?" she said holding aloft a feather boa, "well. You'd better get this pressed." Felicia told her about the party. Kathleen was HAPPY FOR HER AND CASS in a sort of forced way. Felicia told her she was invited as editor of Brava and Felicia's friend. She said she was all right. They didn't believe her.
The Loves are thrilled. Donna intends to introduce Victoria to Marley gradually.
Victoria's in sleeping Marley's room. Marley opened her eyes and reached out to her. Vic fled. Joyce came and asked why her vital signs had changed. Marley told her she'd seen a girl who looked just like her. Did Joyce know who she was.
Kathleen wants to devote an entire issue of Brava to Lesoleil. She's planning like mad. Felicia's happy to have publicity. Kathleen left. Felicia & Wally are pleased with her reaction. She asked him to be her escort. He was hesitant.
Jake told Victoria to do what Donna wanted. She told him about meetinginitial. She said it had nothing to do with Donna it was between Marley and her.
Joyce called Donna and told her Marley had seen Vic or something and she [Donna] should come over.
Vic told Jake she had to see Marley again.
Cory was obnoxious to Clarice-trying-desperately-to-be-nice. Larry told him off. He left to play baseball. Clarice told him Cory was only a little boy and he shouldn't yell at him. He said he wouldn't have Cory talking to her like that. She said she didn't see that it mattered whether Cory hurt her or Larry hurt her. (Larry hurts her by never being with the family.) He said things would be all right soon. She said not unless he told her the truth. She went to Maisie's mad. He said to himself he couldn't lose his family over this and called the captain in a strange voice.
Wally couldn't go he said. Felicia got upset. She said she didn't want to go alone. Zane rang the bell.
Kathleen found wonderful roses and a note from Daphne. "HOW SWELL. Difficult decision ... (snip) ... look FORward to working closely with you (snip) ... HEY" She began cutting the blooms off of the stems but her wrist was soon grabbed by an unknown man (seen from the wrist down only).
Cass, Michaud, and Daphne arrived in Bay City. Cass left to attend to personal business. Daphne thinks Michaud is making things too easy for him. Michaud doesn't want to alienate Kathleen for Felicia's sake. I don't like Daphne.
Mystery man Peter released Kathleen and asked what was upsetting her. She told him about Cass getting the job. He consoled her by saying that she was more valuable to Lesoleil as great editor of Brava while all Cass had was talent and his book. She was cheered. She asked why he was being nice. He told her about Marley. She was pleased. He suggested he go to the Lesoleil party with her. "Well, that's not a bad idea, Peter, except for one thing ... we still don't like each other."
Vic went in to see Marley again. She told her she was her twin sister. Marley believed her. Vic came closer and they felt each other's faces. Vic was on the verge of leaving when Donna appeared.
Mr Baker came over to yell at Larry about having the Jaguar and being scum. He threatened to do horrible things to him if he caught him with any kids. He thinks Dale's dead or something because of drugs. Larry said he wasn't a dealer. Mr Baker hates him for joining the other side.
Donna told Vic off. Vic told her nobody gave her orders. They quarreled. Vic said nobody forbade her to do anything. Vic left. Donna panicked and said she [Vic] wasn't going to leave town was she?
Felicia has successfully nabbed Zane as escort-cum-arm-to-lean-on. He gets to wear a tux haha. He's not thrilled by that. He says he's going to have to make her pay for it.
Wally on the phone asked Lily to go to the party with him saying he'd HONESTLY (fingers crossed) thought he'd have to be out of town when Felicia asked him. She accused him of planning it this way.
Cass appeared to talk to Kathleen. He was as humble and subdued as Cass can be. He apologized for being a jerk along the way. She congratulated him. He said they should forget about the bet but she insisted he collect. He said maybe later. She chatted on and on about Brava's coverage until he told her to shut up. She was hurt. He summoned up his courage and offered to escort her to the party. She told him Peter was taking her. Cass got weird. She left. He kicked himself for not being able to say he was sorry.
Donna told Peter how BELLIGERENT Vic had been. She's worried about her. And what Marley will do to hear she's gone. She can't lose Victoria who is her child as much as Marley is. He left. She went in to see Marley. Marley opened her eyes and asked for Victoria.
The captain called Larry back. Larry said he didn't want to terminate the operation. The captain asked if people were buying his story. They are.
Cass is not thrilled by his botching things with Kathleen.
Peter asked Kathleen about Cass' visit. She didn't tell him much. She said she would've hired Cass if she were Lesoleil and everything was for the best and we all have what we want.
Marley was distressed to hear that Victoria had gone. She got upset. Donna tried to reassure her. Victoria arrived. Marley calmed down instantly. Donna begged forgiveness. They stood about holding hands all three for a bit.
