ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

November 25, 1987

Rachel found out Amanda hadn't slept in her bed. Mac welcomed [Rachel] home. Ada and Jamie and Lisa and Vicky and Matthew and Adam erupted out of nowhere, celebrating vociferously.

Amanda lay in Sam's arms. She noticed the time and tried to escape. Sam tried to tempt her with kisses.

Nicole told Donna to phone the manager. She made sure her jewelry was in its box. Donna told the manager about the evil maid. Security is on its way. They decided Monique could not have been sent by That Old Carrot because she was too unprofessional. Donna suggested Barbara van Arkdale could be the culprit, and when they rushed to check on her designs Monique bolted. Nicole chased her but she got away. Donna phoned security again. Nicole thought it was creepy that she hadn't stolen anything.

Mary told Vince she'd changed churches in order not to trip over him every Sunday. She fell off a ladder into his arms.

Jamie offered to phone Julie Ann to ask about Amanda. Lisa and Vicky drifted into the kitchen in Ada's wake. Adam went to help Matthew fetch firewood. Rachel embraced Mac. They love. Vicky said goodbye to Jamie in the foyer. She's going to have dinner with Clara at the farm. Rachel suspects Jamie of knowing more than he lets on.

Sam told Amanda how wonderful she was. He said she was tantalisingly elusive and he wanted to know more about her. She said she had to go. They made arrangements to meet in the afternoon by the lake. Shot of Sam's unlovely legs.

Victoria showed Michael the letter legally changing her name to Hudson. They embraced.

That Old Carrot dropped by the Love mansion to cheer Donna up. Jaune invited him to leave. [Is that what he saw, then?] Donna and Nicole arrived. Bridget fussed over Donna. Nicole said Jamie should be found.

Mac got a call and rushed out to pick the caller up. Matthew tried to get someone to play football with him; when Ada suggested he expend his energy in rolling pie crust, he said scornfully that was women's work. Adam called him a sexist. Ada marched Matthew off to the kitchen. Jamie took the call from John and rushed to make a house call. Adam and Lisa were left alone. Lisa told him Vicky liked him.

Mary was embarrassed. Vince reprimanded her for wearing heels.

John ordered That Old Carrot out. Exit Carrot. Enter Jamie. Donna assured Jamie there were no cramps, no bleeding. John was stunned to hear Donna was pregnant.

Amanda tried to sneak in secretly. Rachel asked her to explain herself. They argued. Amanda apologized. She confessed she'd spent the night with Sam. She said they cared about each other deeply. Rachel asked if they'd used contraceptives. Amanda said yes. [by real time the Pill hasn't had its month yet.] Amanda said she was happy. Rachel sent her to change.

Nicole saw Jamie to the door. Donna told John Michael didn't know and forbade him to tell him. She said she didn't want Michael back because of the baby. He told her it wasn't right.

Vince and Mary fed homeless people. They found out Ada had invited them both to the Corys'.

Amanda ran into Sam's arms in slow motion. He pulled her into a pile of leaves, in which they tumbled joyfully.

John tried to reason with Donna. She stuck to her guns. He left. Donna told Nicole about Cass' kiss.

Mac returned home and told Adam to pour an extra glass of champagne for AUNT LIZ. Rachel embraced her. Everyone followed suit.

Sam kissed Amanda in the leaves and asked to meet her parents. She put him off. They stared up at the Romance. He said bad things about their having servants. She kissed him and ran off.

Clara served dandelion wine. John arrived. Clara jumped for joy. Michael and Victoria were more subdued. Clara dragged Victoria off to the kitchen. Michael was not receptive to John's talk about Donna. He said he was going to Europe for a long time.

Donna brooded about being pregnant twenty years ago. Nicole coddled her. She's looking forward to being married to Cass.

Ada served champagne to Mary. Mary accused her of playing Cupid. Mac asked Liz to take her old job back. Amanda came in and greeted Aunt Liz. Mac made a speech about the great US of A and life and choices. A toast.
