ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

[the Tuesday after the thrilling Wednesday]

Donna's coming home tomorrow.

The evil friends urged Hunt to beat up Ben and dance with Marley. He considered this advice and found it bad. He asked Tom to dance instead. The girl who was in a state of panic about her cheeseburger was relieved (blood is so gross).

Kathleen is nipping into the wine. She seems to be a vast expert on the sorts there are. Cass is convinced he's going to rot in Donna's cellar. Kathleen is running Cecile down. Cass is glorifying her somewhat. He called Kathleen Countess inadvertently. (In the heat of battle he said.) Cass and Kathleen heard the phone ring and set out in search of it. (They were as surprised by this as we were.)

Hunt launched into an apology. He's being really sweet and I almost feel sorry for him. (Is this is a result of English lit? I hope not.) Ben mistrusts Hunt's motives. Carter auch.

Catlin is bashing the guy in the parking garage. The poor poor pitiful man. "You're so much bigger than I am." This is true.

Vince is not quite the cook Grant was. (I'm told his Irish stew is truly terrible.)

Ravings about cheeseburgers. (Vince had put COTTAGE CHEESE on it.)

Call to Felicia. Cass was great. (dumb stunt. DUMB STUNT.)

Dispatching of the man. All is clear to me. 'Twas the bartender who was "Giving Sally grief." Catlin wanted to leave her at the hotel but she insisted on coming. Sally said she'd lost Catlin far too many times to let him go off alone again. Catlin said he's lost more arguments to her than anyone. (Catlin seems to lose every single possible argument with Sally eventually. Has she ever given up?) Sally: Is that because you love me or you know I'm right? He refused to answer that. They went looking for Ross.

I don't know what Grant and Quinn are drinking but he said "You wouldn't know this wasn't coffee unless you thought about it." They're getting along all right. They discussed raising children alone. Quinn asked why Grant and Lily broke up. Grant told her not to push it.

Ross on the phone. He wants a meeting [?] His apartment's going to blow up. He's got a prisoner of sorts. Who it is I know not. (Oo, let's blow up Mark Singleton.)

Scum friends think Hunt has ulterior motive. They're taken aback. He says he doesn't. They say he'll lose friends on this account. (And what sort of friends? Now I ask you.)

Vince's cooking--ooo, it's awful. Raw potatoes in the salad.

Felicia is at Donna's trying to find the wine cellar. She was mistaken for an upstairs maid (in her clothes?) by a sort of peculiar man. He said he was sure they'd be close (he likes all the maids on his staff to be close.) she said her name was Fanny (which it is) and he blathered a bit about knowing a Fanny in Toronto once. He called her cute. He pointed out the wine cellar and his room. (What a combination. What kind of men does Donna hire? Actually t'only other's Catlin.) He arranged for a tryst at midnight. (Good luck.)

Grant disparaged Quinn's lack of enthusiasm. He grudgingly thanked her for her help. (Enthusiasm in general. He gets all het up about everything.)

Catlin and Sally found Ross' room. He tried to leave Sally behind but she clung to him like a limpet (or a leech or barnacle. Whatever.) They're going to call Larry after Catlin overpowers Ross. (Beg pardon but Ross is a dangerous criminal lunatic with knives and guns and things. Not a good idea. Then again Catlin is a lunatic, period. Irrational. A bit lacking.)

Ross left his apartment. He sneered at his prisoner. (Wheezed a bit too.)

Felicia does not like that man. (Nor I.) she's found the wine cellar. Huzzah huzzah.

Tom asked Carter to say something nice to Hunt. Be friendly. Everyone's friendly. Hunt is friendly. (Is he up to something? Don't let him be.)

Nancy is poring over homecoming photographs. She's absolutely silly over one of her and Perry dancing (cheek to cheek).

Perry thanked Vince for helping out. Everyone chimed in and then they gave him the mitten. He left. Lily is somewhat concerned about Grant. She called Quinn who knew what she wanted to know and told her Grant's fine. The crowd at Smiley's is dispersing. Ben is not as friendly to Hunt as some.

Felicia was enthralled by the wine cellar. Hildy locked them in [she didn't know they were there]. Cass and Felicia are fighting. (As usual.) Felicia is making for the wine instead.

Catlin is going to kick the door in and surprise Ross. The end. Ross isn't there. Who is the prisoner? (Who hasn't been seen?)

Hobbies of Bay City women: pretending to be hookers in crummy bars. (Where do they get their hooker-like clothes? Sally didn't even have anything to sleep in.)

The bartender "Wanted a freebie." Good God bartenders are wicked.

Vida: you must be right. Catlin's bag is probably full of sleazy women's clothing all of which fits Sally of course. He'll be doomed for the rest of his life trying to find other women who fit them. Or he could stick with her. That would be easier on us all. Not as gnerve-racking.

I hope Hunt turns out to be a Ben Riker victim of his friends rather than natural scum. (O cant you just imagine Hunt and Thomasina? Here's Piali's interracial romance but at Carter's expense? oo ick.)
