ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

September 22, 1986

Marley appeared and asked what Michael meant by "no wedding".

Cass sneezed and demanded the names from Adam. Adam brandished a slip of paper in the air and refused. Cass tore the paper and claimed half of the names for himself.

Scott ran into Cheryl in her bridesmaid's dress AGAIN. He refused to hang around because of Vince.

Vince asked god to strike each and every Love dead. He heard a noise but Mary had fled. He thought he saw a lurking lady but dismissed the thought.

Scott wavered and fell. He hung around. Cheryl had to ask Scott to let her out of the dress. (Is this child unsubtle, or what?) She said he had cold fingers. He said her hair smelled nice. He wants to chat with Vince.

Michael told Jake and Marley that Peter was on Reginald's side and Reginald would do whatever the hell he wanted. He suggested they not get married in Bay City.

Reginald fretted because Marissa wasn't in. Peter reported to him. Reginald yelled at him but apologised hastily. He admitted he didn't know where Mary was.

Cass had good luck. Adam didn't. Adam sulked. Cass gloated. Adam muttered about traffic violations. (Cass has a thing about parking.) Cass said something about Chicago and ducked out. Adam pursued him.

Michael arranged for an elopement to Chicago. Marley's disappointed not to have her friends coming. Nobody's really happy.

Reginald snapped at Gomez. Mary returned. Reginald fussed over her. She told him she'd had to see Vince McKinnon. He asked if she'd seen him. She explained what had happened. Marissa can't believe Vince hates the Loves so much for no reason. Reginald swore he had never hurt any of the McKinnons. She believed him. She decided to write Mr McKinnon a letter.

Vince returned to Mary's Place. Scott applied for the job of bartender. Vince refused to hire him. Scott begged for a chance. He said he had no designs on the child Cheryl and could be just as good as Jake. Cheryl took offense. Ada took Scott's side.

Mary wrote Vince suggesting that they attempt to reconcile their differences and offered a scholarship in the dear departed's name. She announced her intention to deliver it in person. Reginald objected on the grounds that Vince is deranged. Mary insisted she would be perfectly safe. She went to freshen up. Mitch phoned up to say almost cryptic things about hassling Felicia.

Mitch watched Felicia eat lunch and assured her he would protect her. (Well, vaguely.) He escorted her out.

Adam and Cass met with a guy in a bar. Johnny Masters. Adam is not enjoying himself. Cass is. He's paying for answers. Johnny said he figured someone had died in room 333. Sensation. Cass took charge. Adam fumed. Johnny said he'd been asked to wash down the room so thoroughly and paid so much he figured someone had died. Room 333 is locked and sealed. Exit Johnny. Cass wants to unseal the room. He left Adam to pay for the drinks.

Ada attempted to reason with Vince. He said he couldn't forgive the Loves. Scott and Ada said all the Loves weren't guilty. Scott tried for the job again.

Felicia gave Mitch a lift. They chatted about her exposé and his son. He's nervous. She reassured him. He said he couldn't talk to Rachel. She advised him to try. He warned her to be careful. He looked around for threats and returned to the car. She asked what his angle was.

Marley and Jake aren't allowed to tell anyone, even Donna. They have to pretend they're getting ready for the big wedding.

Scott went to his parents and told them he had a job and didn't want any of Reginald's money. Mary was thrilled to hear Vince had hired him. She gave Scott her letter to deliver. "Somehow that man has touched my heart," she said.
