Cass was compelled to point out to Cecile that they were not lovers, as he loved Kathleen. She suggested he give her an hour.
Nancy eagerly awaited the letter. Dee doesn't want to ruin anyone's life. Enter Chris.
Brittany told Sally how much she hated her for making her life miserable. [My heart is breaking.] For good measure she added that she wished Sally didn't exist. She said she was sick of being NICE [so soon? She hasn't put much effort into it] and whatever Sally got she deserved. [She's got Catlin.] Rachel intervened. Britt shoved in another threat.
Chris pretended to have been refused his license to tease Nancy. In actual fact he had been reinstated fully. Nancy hit him. Chris adores Peter. He asked Nancy to come to the Corys' etc to celebrate. [Ed note: there is a fog.] Nancy was persuaded.
Cass asked the timeless question: why ME? Cecile again pointed out that he was unique. Cass: it doesn't make any sense to me. If you're bored with the king, divorce His Royal Highness, find somebody new. Why have an affair with me at gunpoint? Cecile: do you see any guns? Cass: oh, COME ON, there is a bozo standing outside with a very suspicious looking bulge in his pants. [A mother [who shall remain nameless to protect her identity] says her mother would have taken that the wrong way.] Cecile said after he'd left her [he objected to that] she realized he was the only person who'd ever mattered to her. He threatened to be sick. She went to see to the meal of aphrodisiacs, saying "don't go anywhere." Cass said, "where would I go?" bitterly, but left alone he changed that to "Kathleen, here I come." When Cecile returned he pretended not to have been working away at the window. Cass found the hidden camera and was disgusted. He kept on about Kathleen.
Donna apologized for Brittany's behaviour. Rachel yelled at her. Donna left Being Dignified. Sally started out for the Northwoods Inn. Chris called with his good news and Rachel was delighted.
Sally felt followed once again. There were headlights.
Donna returned home to find Michael preparing dinner. He asked about the museum meeting. She said those women made her a bundle of nerves. He knew all about it, natch, and advised her not to fight with Brittany like that. She denied having made a scene and he recalled their wager. She got upset because he'd had a tall blonde Lorna Roberts there to look after his museum interests. He revealed that Brittany hadn't come home yet [oho].
Sally got upset.
Cass refused to eat. Marcia came in to cover up the window for a blackout. Cass asked to be allowed to call Kathleen. She asked if it would put him in a better mood. He said not being allowed would put him in an uglier mood. She told him he could write a note.
Nancy is glad to see Chris with a spring in his step once more. Things were going swell and then Pam Bondi arrived at the Cory celebration unexpectedly.
Sally told Catlin a black car had followed her into the parking lot. He rushed out and attacked some poor man who just reeked with innocence. Sally pried him off and Felicia gave the man dinner on the house. Catlin wants to know who this villain is.
Donna told Peter over the phone that Brittany wasn't in and congratulated him on the Chapin case. She returned to dinner. She and Michael got along swimmingly. He produced oysters. She said he hadn't liked them but he said he'd made great use of them since he found out they were good for the libido.
Rachel apologized to Nancy for Pam. Nancy said she'd been silly to think that things could be the same, because she was a silly waitress and Pam was a doctor. She told everyone she had to go back to work. Chris protested but to no avail. Pam soon followed and Peter went home. Chris apologized to the Corys for getting Nancy's hopes up and then stomping on them. He decided to go to Nancy via the hospital. [he wants to look at the hospital and tell Nancy he doesn't mean to confuse her.]
Cass gave his note over to be sent.
Sally refused to let Catlin take her home. They kissed rather a lot and she said she loved him before driving off. ENTER THE HORRIBLE BLACK CAR.
Quinn refused to talk about her non-existent love life. Lily wants to fix it. Quinn told her not to. She has doubts about Cass.
Cass begged to be allowed to return. Cecile said she loved him. Cass: kidnapping is not love. Kidnapping is a felony, it's sick. She said they were meant for each other.
Tender Love. Peter hove into view. Brittany is not yet back. Odd.
Sally found herself followed and screamed out the window. Crash bang thump.
Cass found out about the night radio silence and asked about the blackout. He asked what was up. She went to bed.
Kathleen prepared for Felicia's show. Nancy's Marley letter arrived and she opened it with Dee. They were revolted with Jake.
Donna wants Marley's shower to be happy. Peter's worried about Brittany. [Ha.]
Sally lay slumped against the steering wheel all over blood. She crawled halfway out the window. "Help me — help me — Catlin," she half sobbed.
