MJ and Adam and Kathleen found the doctor [Dr Lachine] in his hotel room and badgered him until he remembered Cecile and Cass and Paradise Cove. Left to himself he telephoned Cecile. Meanwhile the intrepid police officers and appendage flew around in a helicopter looking for Cass. Cass had very cleverly escape from the cellar, having smashed LaRusso, peggoor sweggeet, and was paddling himself homeward with a shovel on a raft-thingy when he spotted the helicopter and signalled madly with Cecile's mirror. Kathleen thought she'd seen a flashing light but failed to perceive the beloved.
Nancy pled with Larry to get him to prevent the bartender from pressing charges but to no avail. She confided in Ada, mindful of Jake's insistence that Vince not be told. Ada suggested she call Michael. She did. Unfort., Vince heard her telling Ada he need never know and demanded an explanation. Michael went to Jake and offered him bail. Jake (very politely) said he would prefer to rot . Vince rushed in and bailed him out, approving of his refusal to accept Love money. Michael denied being a Love. The McKinnons withdrew to Mary's Place. Carver told Jake about UCLA and they behaved in their usual cryptic fashion. Jake said he'd miss him.
Catlin traced Victoria's credit cards. (When Britt heard he was in the house she sent for him but he said he didn't have time.) He found she'd stayed at a motel in Lassiter. (Bridget was extremely strange all day, in fact she had rushed to Jake to see if he knew anything and he said he didn't care if Vic was dead and it was her [Bridget's] fault that Vic was the way she was . She got upset.) Michael told Donna her money was being held illegally. She tried to call Camp David to have it straightened out but he said he'd take care of it. They set out for Lassiter in Michael's plane.
