Nancy is no good in crisis situations. Chris yelled at her to get an ambulance.
Jake and Marley returned from Barnesville. Donna lit into him for involving Victoria in the treasure mess. He protested his innocence. Marley sought to improve the situation by announcing that they wanted to be married sooner.
Cass called Dottie and got her to get Kathleen to talk to Mickey. He invited her to a picnic and rang off. Cass rebuked him [Mickey] for ordering her rather than inviting.
Annie arrived. Such the Mighty Mouse. She was indignant to hear Britt had blood and wasn't giving any until they explained. She was mollified. Felicia told Zane everything would be all right.
Donna suggested they wait. Marley and Jake were adamant. Donna fussed about Peter's wedding and said Peter had been roped into the marriage cowgirl fashion. Marley said she was sure Peter loved Britt. Donna said [in an undertone] "she's ENCEINTE." Jake had to have it explained. He and Marley approved. Donna went to bed.
Nancy wept. She doesn't have a flashlight in spite of Ada's warnings. She berated herself at length. When Chris heard sirens approaching he took her keys and informed her that he had been driving.
Cass is pleased that Kathleen has been goaded back into therapy. Kathleen appeared for the picnic with Mickey [Cass and Mickey chat in Spanish & French. Courage, mon vieux].
Donna is trying to plan the week's menu. Bridget told her Britt had made out the menus for the month in order to avoid leftovers. Donna said she could follow Britt's menu until the end of the week when they would switch to Donna's. She's not pleased. She will have cheese and fruit in her room. Enter Marley. Exit Bridget. Marley told Donna she wanted the wedding invitations to read "Miss Donna Love requests the pleasure of your company at the marriage of her daughter."
Nancy is distraught. Larry appeared to ask Chris questions. Chris says Nancy was drunk when he got to her and he was driving. Larry asked why he was so determined to establish that. Chris said he just wanted to make it clear that he was responsible. Enter Dr Longo who attacked him. He wants Chris to pay. Chris prevented Nancy from confessing. Larry told Chris Mrs. Longo wasn't likely to die but if she did die he could be arrested.
Donna asked Marley if she wanted to ruin her life. Marley said she wanted the truth known. Donna has a reputation to uphold. She said Jake had put Marley up to it. Marley denied it. Donna said she wasn't ready. Marley said she was going riding and she wanted an acceptable answer when she returned.
Kathleen told Mickey if he didn't reveal himself she would leave never to return.
Zane is getting blood from all over the country. Felicia talked to him. He's rather weak but improving. They said they loved each other.
Michael is happy that everything's all right and that the wedding's moved up. He said he was looking forward to meeting Donna. Exit Marley and Diamond. Donna phoned out to say she wanted to go riding at 3:00 PM and could he please have her horse saddled. She added that she'd heard good things about his work and was looking forward to meeting him. Caruso came in and raved at him. He says Michael has to Bonn. Michael said he'd go at 4 PM.
Marley returned for her answer. Donna hedged. She said she didn't want to detract from the splash the bride should make. She asked for more time to think about it. Exit Marley.
Nancy is pleased that Mrs. Longo's doing better. She's everlastingly grateful for Chris for all he's done and she promised never to do anything stupid again. She asked him to come home and get things back on track. He said he had a meeting with his lawyer and yelled at her. Just because the worst didn't happen didn't mean doesn't mean everything is OK. He told her she was childish and selfish and he was tired of bailing her out. Pam Bondi offered him a ride.
Mickey and Kathleen accused each other of hiding behind things. He told her he loved her. He wants to help. She told him she'd lost a lot and given up a lot and she didn't need some kind of smart mouth puppet to tell her how selfish she was. He asked what she'd given up. She said someone very special and asked what right he had to talk to her like that. She started crying and said the party was over. He asked about the guy she gave up. She fled. He called after her and kicked himself for blowing it. Mickey told him Kathleen could take it. Cass said he'd gone too far.
Donna went out to the stables and was unable to find Michael. Vic found her. Donna told her about the wedding invitations and asked Vic to talk sense to her [Marley] to avoid scandal. She asked where that idiot stableboy was. She broke a nail saddling Dusty. Michael is lurking in the back privy to everything. She called out that she'd fire him. She left. Michael punched things.
Dottie suggested she and Kathleen go back to the park. Kathleen said she was never going back to the park again.
Wally told Cass the doctors were "cautiously optimistic" about Zane. They're relieved. Cass was vague about his own situation.
Chris and Dr Longo don't get along. Dr Longo told Chris he'd pay for his wife's injuries.
Nancy is abstracted. She decided to go shopping. She has bills all over but she has her trusty piece of plastic.
Michael left for Bonn in a temper. He's going to come back and "it won't be pleasant for HER."
