ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

March 15, 1985

Wallingford suffered qualms about imposing on Felicia. Felicia's determined to do this. She told Wallingford this is what friends are for. Cass and Lily arrived with Dee in tow all dolled up for their meeting with Cartwright. Very impressive.

The Corys are haunting the hospital. Rachel's in a bad way. They have to operate even though it's unsafe.

Cass says Dee's a natural beauty and perfect. Felicia lent her a ring for luck. Tony came and was overwhelmed. Cass gave Dee the credit. They played up the magnificence of the Cartwright and the power his letter of recommendation would wield. He reserved all of Tallboys for the evening. He owns the Northwoods Inn. Tony had to attend to some business appointments. He said Dee looked like an angel and wished them luck and left. Felicia and Wallingford didn't tell them what they're doing this evening. Cass and Dee were left alone. Dee's afraid she'll blow everything. Cass is supremely confident. Lily entered as Dee was saying "I just wish you weren't my teacher." She sees all.

Alice told the Corys they're to operate. She wouldn't tell them what her chances were. Mac whispered to Rachel that he loved her as they took her in. Jamie's worried. Mac says they have to face it. Ada says she'll make it.

Cass and Dee and Lily left for Tallboys. Lily hinted to Felicia about Dee's affections. Felicia rushed off to change into full truck driving regalia.

Donna wants to hire an incredibly great lawyer to retrieve their money. Peter won't help her. He's going to Oregon. She's aware the phone # has an Oregon area code. He told her not to meddle. Rather violently. She subsided.

Aunt Liz: I can tell by the look in his eye. Alice: Aunt Liz, Sally and Peter are very good friends. That's all. Liz: Well then why is it there? Alice: What? Liz: That look. The look a man gets when he's interested in a woman. I can see it. Alice: Well that's because you happen to have a very active imagination. Aunt Liz maintained she was not imagining Peter's look. Alice told her Sally and Catlin were very much in love and Sally could look after her own life. She's somewhat depressed because of Rachel. She says they shouldn't meddle. Alice darted off and Liz ran into Mac etc. Mac told her Peter can't leave tonight now.

Grant told Lily he'd been sleeping at Tallboys for Tom & Carter. He thanked her for the job. She said to forget it. She told him about Dee's mad infatuation. Cass is impatient waiting for Cartwright. Dee's just looking at him. They got up to dance. ("Something up-tempo and south of the border.") In came Jerome, who looked appalled. They stopped.

Felicia and Wallingford are on their way.

Cass exuded charm and hospitality. Jerome's a creep. He was revolting. He told Grant to make sure the ice outside was seen to. He was on about lineage. Cass agreed with him madly. He talked about Dee's name being Welsh and the Celts intermarried and Dee was not purely Celtic. He says the Cartwrights never intermarried and were therefore pure. Cass was unthrilled but polite until Jerome called Dee a mongrel. Then he blew up and really gave him what for.

In the OR Rachel's life is in danger.

Blaine found out about the operation and went looking for Sandy.

Mac thought about the hair and money. At least he doesn't have Warren thoughts.

More OR. Pretty dull stuff. But dangerous. Oh so dangerous.

More what for. Dee was thrilled to the very core of her being. Jerome attributed it to jealousy. He left unmoved. Lily reminded Cass of the letter but he doesn't care.

Blaine found Sandy with Donna. She told him about Rachel. He went to his office. Blaine told Donna she knew she was out to seduce her husband.

Liz told Peter he couldn't go to Oregon. She's crying. She apologized for interfering. She knows he has Catlin & Sally's best interests at heart. He was reassuring. He cancelled his reservations.

Blaine railed at Donna. Donna denied it. Sandy returned and was disbelieving. He led Blaine away.

Caroline's destined mate is Richard. Felicia's going to run into Tallboys on the way to give Lily a gift for Tom & Carter she'd left behind.

Ada called Nancy to tell her about the operation. Everyone's worried. Jamie's badgering Alice. She agreed to go into the OR to find out what's up.

Dee's impressed by Cass. He has a week to get another letter. They're all going to forget about this and party tonight. Lily's going to sing. And champagne!

Felicia's going over a hill. On the way down they hit ice and couldn't stop. Tallboys is at the bottom. Lily's song is "Something's coming I don't know what it is but it is . . . could it be? Yes it could . . . something's coming something good" etc.. Wallingford and Felicia are terrified. Screaming. They hit the building.

Nancy was mad not to be told. (Mad as a snake.) They're hoping.

Alice got into the OR. Lots of doctoring going on. Rachel became flat line.
