ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

October 13, 1987

Dr Ungler saw Jamie strolling about with Lisa and looked disapproving. Lisa told Jamie not to risk his job. Jamie said he'd be willing to break a few rules to save Victoria. Lisa agreed. John was impolite to That Old Carrot. He told Lisa and Jamie that being psychic couldn't hurt and it might help.

Nicole flinched but carried on. She said the show would proceed with her designs. Then she took a swing at Barbara, who ducked, letting Cass take it. He fell down. Nicole said that Barbara was a fraud. Barbara threw her to the floor. A fight broke out. Mitch hauled Barbara off Nicole. Nicole pulled Barbara's hair and tried to make her admit she'd stolen her designs. Barbara wouldn't. Cass produced sketches as proof. Barbara was beaten. She admitted it and pushed her way out. Cass kissed Nicole's hand.

Dr Ungler gave Jamie a hard time about being unscientific.

Donna and Michael encouraged Victoria. Enter That Old Carrot. Michael allowed him a few minutes alone with her. That Old Carrot told Victoria that she wouldn't be there if he'd been in control. Peter came in and said they were to blame. That Old Carrot said the Hudsons were. Peter said he couldn't twist it. That Old Carrot maintained that they had had to tell Victoria what Donna and John were up to.

Mary and Vince thought Cheryl modelled very well. Cass asked Nicole to kiss it better.

The Hudsons begged Lisa to help. She gave in in spite of Dr Ungler. That Old Carrot showed Peter what he'd planted in Victoria's purse to worry Donna. Peter refused to be swayed by filial considerations, so That Old Carrot threatened to make sure Donna blamed him [Peter] if he interfered in any way. Peter was disgusted but he saw how suspicious his position was. He is forced to conspire.

Lisa asked John if he knew what was bothering Victoria, in case it could help her reach her. John spoke vaguely of fraternal tensions. Lisa wished for something more specific. She gazed at Victoria but got nothing. She went to clear her head. John stood over Victoria, feeling slightly guilty and paternal. He told her no matter what she'd seen on the boat nothing had happened because of her and Michael. Donna came in and found him stroking Victoria's cheek. He said he wished he knew if she was his daughter. Donna asked what it mattered. John said he wanted the lies to release their stranglehold on his family.

Nicole's fashion show went over big. Ada missed the wedding dress.

Rachel decided to order a few things from Nicole's selection.

Cass came and said he'd locked the wedding dress up but they found the lock jimmied and Dawn had seen a woman answering Barbara's description heading for the ladies' room with a peculiar burden. Cass fled.

A couple of blondes were shocked when Cass burst into the ladies' room. They ran to Felicia to complain. Cass struggled with Barbara.

Jamie and Lisa embraced outside and worried about Victoria. Lisa suddenly got an impression. It sounded like a breathy bellows.

Scott gazed at Dawn when she modelled the wedding gown. It brought down the house. Nicole took her bows. She thanked everyone, Cass with tears in her eyes. He made her kiss him. There were cries of 'brava.' (How killing.) Mary and Scott praised Cheryl. Vince and Diane came back to be horrifically proud. Scott told Dawn she'd been the star of the show. Cass got Felicia to forgive him. They all toasted Nicole.

Nicole tried to get a loan and was annoyed when the banker wouldn't hand it over to her right this minute. Mac said he'd make some calls. Nicole decided to look for a husband.

The bellows said it was afraid to die and called for Mommy. It did not sound like Victoria. It was a great many patients you see. She couldn't identify Victoria. Dr Ungler appeared and told Jamie to take Lisa home and leave her there.

John and Michael congregated outside. Michael told John that Donna had been attacked near his boat last night. John was surprised.

Donna came looking for Victoria's purse. She found the photographs protruding from it and looked worried.
