Jamie tried to explain himself. The girl would have none of it. She leaped into the elevator and said she was going to her aunt's party. He leaped in after her, saying he was going to the party too.
Felicia contemplated her Valentine and left it behind the bar. Nancy and Tony arrived. Mitch bugged Sara about Michael. Ivanhoe rang no bells with her. She told Mitch she didn't want him to go to jail.
Scott calmed Cheryl. Zack told them the police were suspicious of them.
Donna got excited.
Michael crouched out of sight. The large man came too and reported to the sleazebucket. They don't know who Michael is or what he's about but they mean to get him.
Donna called for help.
Scott and Cheryl said they'd arrived a couple of minutes before Vince had left and that that was the first they'd known he was there. Zack warned Cheryl to shut up saying that she would have done anything to help him if she'd known. They insisted they didn't know where Vince was. Zack didn't believe them. He left.
Felicia forced champagne on people. She was nice to Quinn. Quinn told her her troubles. The niece Lisa Grady arrived. Felicia introduced her around, particularly to Jamie. [Joanna Going still has that drippy voice a little.] She made a little speech about love and her wedding and Liberace and Zane and wept a trifle. They drank to friendship and to love.
MJ and Adam kissed rather a lot in the parking garage, paying no attention to the sinister shoes which boarded the elevator and vanished with a ping. MJ: Ouch. Adam: OUCH? I kiss you and you say ouch? MJ: well, there's something in your pocket. Adam: so? MJ: so, it hurts, what is it? Adam: wouldn't you like to know. MJ: yeah, I would like to know, that's why I'm asking. Adam: you will find out. MJ: when? Now? Adam: no, now is not the appropriate time or place. MJ: when is the appropriate time or place? She coaxed. He suggested they stay at the party for only an hour. She beat him down to 20 minutes. He told her he loved her and dragged her to the elevator.
The nurse heard something. Michael peered through a window. They did not find him. Donna emerged from her room and launched into a tirade about how her husband and her father and her brother and her sister [no mention of a daughter. Why one of Reginald?] would find her and make them pay. They laid hands on her.
Cheryl and Scott don't know what to do. Scott suggested they use his money for bail and try to find Bernie. Zack reported that Vince had sort of stolen a gun and he's now listed as armed and dangerous. Donna struggled. The sleazebucket said she was to stay out of sight. She told him smugly it was because Michael had sent someone for her and they were afraid. They grabbed her and the nurse gave her an injection. She went out like a light. The nurse didn't think she had injected her properly but the men said she was asleep so they put her in her room without locking the door. [Oh, good idea.] Michael gives them the creeps.
Cheryl interrogated Scott with stars in her eyes. She was overcome with gloom because MJ and Adam will have to cancel their vacation. She suspects him of having something planned.
Sara convinced Mitch to leave Michael be. Mitch fussed. Sara tried to make him dance with Felicia but Felicia wouldn't play ball. Maisie and Dave are blissfully happy. Nancy worried about the murders. Tony told her soothing lies. Nancy's afraid that regular women will start getting it next. Felicia forced Lisa's society on Jamie and said she'd raised her an she was able to identify cards and foresee the future. [I don't think people should have psychic nieces.] She rushed off to get a deck of cards although Lisa was reluctant.
Donna wasn't really out. Once left alone she crept out of her bed. Michael got into the house. They heard voices returning almost immediately after the preliminary "Michael" and "Donna." Michael ducked behind a rotating panel in the wall. [How did he know it was there?] Donna fainted artistically. The men believed it.
Zack returned to Tops and assured Quinn that he would help her get her life back on track. He told MJ and Adam about Mary's arrest. They dashed out. Felicia made Lisa read cards for Jamie. She is a secretary [90 words/minute]. She got three cards [well, two and a half. She called the king of diamonds the king of hearts. Felicia counted it.] Felicia made her describe the other pin she [Felicia] had considered wearing. She got it. Jamie told her to tell him Nancy's name. She said "Tony." Nancy admitted she thought about Tony all the time. Lisa predicted that Jamie would save a life that night but fled in distress when confronted with Maisie.
Scott took a lot of money out of a bank machine for bail. Cheryl remarked that he had kept half.
Felicia was worried about Lisa. Maisie and Dave prepared to go. Lisa looked at Maisie funny. She refused to go in the same elevator but after they'd gone decided she had to tell Maisie the horrible thing she'd seen. She and Jamie jumped into the elevator. Tony arranged to meet Nancy in the garage in a couple of minutes.
Cheryl let Scott know she suspected him of being about to go to Colorado. He denied it very clumsily. She beamed and said she was coming.
Dave left Maisie alone in the car park while he went to get the car. The sinister shoes crept up behind her [loving whispers ringing in his head] and did a number on her carotid artery. He backed out recklessly in his car. Jamie cried out to Lisa in warning.
Donna saw Michael creeping out and called out to him in warning. They were both set upon by the men.
