The fire was put out. Nicole panicked when it took her a minute to find her sketches and then Cass had to comfort her when she heard all her fabric had been destroyed. Vicky, who had been driving by with Adam, was nice to Nicole. Adam told Cass it looked like arson. He left with the firemen. Cass praised Nicole's good sense.
Jason seems to have a lot of kids or something. He was interested in Lisa's psychic ability. He hinted about his business partnership.
Ada told Amanda about being old and pregnant with Nancy. More Joyce stuff. When Julie Ann returned she left them alone. Amanda told Julie Ann she'd been thinking of not having the baby. Julie Ann was shocked. Amanda said she couldn't dump this burden on her parents. If she is going to have a baby, she has to be responsible for it. Better, perhaps, to eliminate the need for responsibility.
Lisa liked Jason. Jamie said he was different from what he'd imagined. Jason said he'd used to ice fish with Steve. He promised to invite them to dinner when he was settled. He left. Jamie said Rachel was wrong about him. Lisa made him do the dishes.

That Old Carrot was peeved because he hadn't intended to endanger Nicole's life. Jason dropped by. That Old Carrot refused to enter into partnership with him. Jason left.
Lisa told Jamie Jason was charming but he didn't know how many children he had.
Cass was unable to resign himself to sleeping in an armchair. Nicole told him she suspected That Old Carrot.
