ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

January 10, 1986

GOOD MORNING. Lotsa kissing. When Marley told Jake she meant to convince her father to move to Bay City she perceived that he did not think it a good idea and asked why.

Neal told Victoria he'd had a dream about her last night and he'd pick her up at 7:00 with intent to make his dreams come true.

Peter told Rachel about Mac's bad idea. Enter Mac yelling at him for undermining him.

Victoria is the only woman in the world who can save Neal from aggressive neuroticism. She's skeptical. He said they'd fight about it later and left. Ralph found her and wanted to chat. She was not receptive. She recalled Donna begging her to help get rid of him and pretty much told him to leave her alone. Donna drifted in and sent Ralph out so they could visit with Mr. Oates from the bank.

Marley was not dissuaded although Jake said she couldn't go uprooting people, even fathers. He somehow got her sidetracked by saying she'd feel differently when she had children. [I fell down. She was slightly less flabbergasted, she told him to go for the Plains Motel. She'll help and be happy. She's not mad at him for giving her a hard time about Michael. They want Peter to have a life and wife of his own [they think it would be swell if he married Brittany] and maybe attaching Donna to Michael will keep her out of their business.

Britt's drinking diet soda in a motel and checking to see if she shows. She told herself she had to get Peter to propose soon and called him to have him call because it was an emergency.

Rachel made Mac apologize. Peter left. Rachel was tactful about the Bad Idea. Mac didn't recognize the Blue Jar. Rachel told him Nancy had brought it back from Egypt. They went to raid the larder.

Mr. Oates says there's no way to save the estate. No more time. Vic can't use her trust fund. Donna is dying because Marley hasn't offered hers. She blames Jake. Victoria says Jake isn't interested in money but love and Marley. Donna is forced to swallow her pride and call someone.

Rachel wants Mac to work at home so Liz came over. Rachel is worried because Mac has spots of strangeness. Donna called. Enter Mac, willing to take the call, to Liz’ disgust. Donna invited him over to help with a business emergency. He said he'd jog over. Old friends, dear friends. Liz and Rachel say she'll go all coquettish and try to borrow money. Mac is sure all she wants is advice. Rachel doesn't want him to jog but he overruled her. Liz disapproves.

Jake told Carter that Marley’s father was in town and maybe not Marley's father. It's a secret. He doesn't like feeling that Michael doesn't seem very interested in Marley. And Victoria doesn't seem interested in Michael. Carter: what about Donna? Jake: who cares about Donna, she's off the deep end anyway. He thinks Michael's after money and he doesn't want Marley to be upset by a bogus father. He's got an idea. He needs Carter's help.

Donna is confident that Mac will come through in spite of Rachel. Vic isn't. Donna says Mac is their last chance.

Mac rested himself on a bench in maternity park.

Ralph loved the idea but voiced objections regarding the facility of rebuilding his business. Marley said she'd help. He was interested in the trust fund. He likes Jake. Her fiance [note the lack of aigu]. She asked him to chat up Donna. He asked her not to tell Donna he might be sticking to Bay City. Marley encouraged revitalization of the romance. They are glad they found each other.

Neal and Fayez took inventory. Will betide anyone who messed it up by stealing something.

Bridget informed Rachel Mac hadn't been over. She [Rachel]and Liz went looking for him.

Peter called Britt. She fawned all over him vocally and raved about how she fell apart every time she tried to be independent. Somebody stole her purse and she has no money and she's helpless. He's on his way. She's at the Green Lantern in Ogden. He doesn't hate her. Bitch.

Bridget warned Victoria against making her own miracle. Victoria rushed secretly to War and Peace.

Liz and Rachel brought Mac home. He refused to go to bed but promised not to go out.

Marley wants Ralph to rent the Cory gatehouse. He's afraid Donna wouldn't come to see him. He asked her about Victoria being difficult. Marley assured him she didn't hate him and they all needed him, especially Donna. Marley says Donna's greatest fear is that someone will discover her Secret.

Jake hasn't quite figured out why Donna hasn't exposed Michael as unreal. He and Carter are gathering things from the newspaper morgue.

Mac fell down.

Neal makes the jewels 39 — 10 short. Who was the thief?

Victoria paid Mr. Hunt a visit in her Marley voice. He finds her demands laughable. She said she'd stay put until she got that money.

Rachel found Mac prostrate. She screamed NO.
