Felicia got upset with Adam because he hadn't anticipated the attack on Donna.
Rachel warned Nancy not to live with Tony. Nancy has some weird idea that Tony will catch the killer and write a story and be famous. Rachel told her not to be dumb.
MJ found the wickedness note in the armoire. Peter appeared and expressed concern. Donna was not much help. Peter blamed Michael for making Donna a target. Adam decided to question him. Peter protested. He said he loved Donna. Michael yelled at him. Peter told MJ the questioning would be pointless. Michael comforted Donna.
Adam and MJ went to another room for proper questioning. Mary and Nicole came in and gave wildly diverse descriptions of the man they'd seen. Mary said short and stocky.; Nicole said tall. They apologized. Adam soothed them. A dark coat. Nicole said she didn't think Peter could have done it but he had been weird lately. Enter Peter. He thanked her. Mary and Nicole left. Adam read Peter his rights. Peter waived them. Lazarus stomped in and made a fuss.
Michael told Donna they could go ahead with the wedding if she was willing. She seemed willing. That Old Carrot oozed in. Michael ordered him out. Donna told him she wanted to handle this alone. Michael was a little surprised but left. Donna gave Reginald a hard time. He pretended to be reasonable. He told her pretty stories about her infancy. He said if he'd hurt her it was because he'd wanted to protect her. She sobbed and told him it was too late. She told him she was finished with him. He said he was still head of the family. She said it was her family now and Michael's and she never wanted to see him again. That Old Carrot left. Michael and Donna rejoiced.
Rachel warned Nancy that she didn't know Tony very well. Nancy said she loved Tony and she didn't want to lose him. Tony arrived. Nancy rushed him out.
Trish clung to Scott. Cheryl fumed. Felicia insisted on going back to Tops in spite of Wallingford's protests. Zack said women should stop taking their safety for granted. Quinn said she couldn't think of anything worse than having some big strong man to protect her. Jeannie said she wished the killer would come after her because she'd give him a knuckle sandwich. Wallingford and Zack told them not to be silly. Michael appeared and announced they were going ahead with the wedding. Everyone applauded. The wedding got underway. Mac has been dropped from the programme. Michael told a story instead about how he'd met Donna. [She's a little too small suddenly.] it degenerated into a fairytale princess thing. She took up the story in a broken voice. They did the love, cherish, forsaking all others business. They lit candles or something. [What is this custom?] Nicole sang. They exchanged rings. The reverend asked for just cause. No one dared say anything, Michael was so fierce. They were declared man and wife. Trish made certain Scott didn't have a chance to talk to Cheryl.
Tony returned unexpectedly and Nancy was startled. He told her he was worried about her and she didn't have to live with him. She said she wanted to. He said he loved her. She threw herself at his head. Adam phoned and asked if she and Tony had been together all day. Nancy yelled at him. He yelled at her for living with Tony. She hung up saying she'd be with Tony regardless.
Michael carried Donna into the dressing room.
Nancy told Tony Adam had wanted to question him again. Tony said he'd go down. He asked if she had ever thought he might be the killer. She asked if he loved her. He said he did. She said he couldn't be the killer.
Adam told MJ to go on ahead to the reception. She said she'd question people with him.
When Cheryl arrived at Tops Chad chatted her up. He asked after MJ. She said MJ might be along later. He asked if she were alone. She caught sight of Trish plastering herself to Scott [in spite of Scott's protests] and, smiling brilliantly, said she wouldn't be if he'd be her date.
Michael hasn't told Donna where they're going on their honeymoon. She tried to kiss him into submission. He forgot. Something arrived. She swooned with delight.
