ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

March 8, 1985

Cass told Tony they've been evicted. Tony's displeased. He says Rocco is too. Cass told him Dee and Lily would have to move into his place. Tony said his niece was not living in a bachelor penthouse with the likes of CASS. Obviously of the Aunt Liz school of thought.

Sandy's going to fetch the $2 million. Jamie dashed in to show summat to Mac.

Rachel's plotting to SUBDUE Carl. Whack him over the head with a metal slat thing with Nancy's help. Carl arrived in a jovial mood. He brought Rachel a white sweater to increase her visibility. She refused to wear it. He said if she wouldn't put it on herself he would. He called Sandy a freckled young whelp. Nancy's crying. Rachel says they've got to get him. She explained the mirrors to Nancy.

Jamie has the plans of the Chapin estate bought by Carl. They suspect their women are there. Mac won't let Jamie call the police. Mac's going alone.

Cass flared up and said there was nothing wrong with the likes of him. Tony said there was in no uncertain terms. Lily mediated. Tony said he'd have to live elsewhere. Tony left saying thing sot Cass about missions. Dee was told they'd been evicted. She refused to go.

The McKinnon girls discussing their respective love lives.

Cass told Dee she was being silly. Dee said she would go to Detroit. Lily protested. It appears that Dee's mother was constantly on the go fleeing 'orrible boorish boyfriends and Dee didn't like it. Lily sympathized with her. She was not swayed.

Assistant-cop-with-beard-at-the Corys'-Barnes told Larry he thinks the Corys are up to something. Jamie came in. Larry asked Jamie what was up. Jamie remained close-mouthed. Larry yelled at him. Poor Jamie. Mac and Sandy are WRONG. Really.

Cass talked to Dee. He said he guessed this was good-bye and she was a terrific young woman and he knew she could've done it. She said she knew where she was in Cecile's house and if she moved she'd have to get resettled. He said she'd be moving into his penthouse (she was rather interested in this. He explained he'd be moving out and Lily would go with her.) She agreed to keep on with debbing. She was impressed that he was giving up his pad. She said if this Queen of Tinky-Tonky or whatever was throwing them out then they'd have to go. He extolled the magnificence of his penthouse.

Sandy's at the bank. Not divulging his reasons. Carl called pretending to be Mac and told him to come to a warehouse without going home. Sandy swallowed it.

Kathleen pried into Jake's affairs. He pried back. Asking about Cass. She asked why he'd come. His response was most unilluminating. She offered to try to get him a job at KBAY.

Rachel plotting to subdue Carl since it didn't materialize last time. Nancy's afraid.

Donna stopped by the Corys'. She said Sandy was expecting her. Jamie told her he'd gone to the store. Ada backed him up. She was taken aback by the violence of their assertion and rather faintly asked after Rachel. She was hastily informed that Rachel's still in New York. She wants to be told if they hear anything of Carl. She was assured she'd be told although it was unlikely he'd return. They were interrupted by Barnes. Jamie made up a story about burglars. Donna left. Mac appeared wondering about Sandy's whereabouts. Barnes told him no one's to leave the house without their knowledge. There's a squad car out front. Mac wants to go to the Chapin estate now.

Jake told Marley about Kathleen's offer. He asked if he could experiment with lighting in the Love mansion. She'll talk to Donna.

In order to distract Barnes Ada pretended to've hurt her ankle while Mac slipped out the French windows. Barnes wanted to talk to Mac but he was dissuaded.

Dee's ready to go. She's still afraid they'll be moving around forever. Lily told her change was a part of life. She cheered her up.

Carl came to take Rachel away. They knocked him down but he pulled a gun on them mad as hell. Misplaced bloody courage he called it. He made Nancy put Rachel in the sweater.

Cass told Kathleen Tony won't let him live at home and the Bay City Towers won't let him in without funds. She said he could stay in Ben's room but he said he couldn't because of pride. She cast up his embezzlement and Krystle to him but he said nonetheless he had to make it on his own. She was pleased. She has to go to the Complex. He has to go to his penthouse and check on Dee & Lily.

Ada's scared. Jamie's worried about Sandy. MJ and Larry arrived. Wanting to see Mac about the $2 million. Ada said Sandy'd gone shopping. Larry didn't swallow it.

Carl blindfolded Rachel and took her out. Chatting blithely about the shooting. Nancy threw fits. Left alone. Carl and Rachel ran into Mac with a gun.

"Spot of trouble?" I said. "Yes." "Often the way with these protest marches. What happened?" "I socked a cop." I could see why he was a bit emotional. Socking cops is a thing that should be done sparingly, if at all. I resumed the quiz. "Any particular reason? Or did it just seem like a good idea at the time?" He gnashed a tooth or two. He was a red-headed chap, and my experience of the red-headed is that you can always expect high blood pressure from them in times of stress. The first Queen Elizabeth had red hair, and look what she did to Mary Queen of Scots. "He was arresting the woman I love." I could understand how this might well have annoyed him. I have loved a fair number of women in my time, though it always seems to wear off after a while, and I should probably have drained the bitter cup a bit if I had seen any of them pinched by the police."

If the Plains Motel is at all sinister I s'pose the female who killed Willa has been staying there and slinking about the cabin and dropping pens.
