Cheryl tried her hand at popcorn. Scott razzed her. Kissing. Cheryl neglected her popcorn. He admitted to having distracted her. They heard a noise.
MJ attempted to distract Adam with kisses. When that didn't work she told him the dream had upset her.
Chad hung out at Mary's Place.
Felicia found new digs for herself and for Mitch.
Scott and Cheryl went to investigate. They found Michael on the doorstep. He wanted to talk about Reginald and Vince. Scott yelled at him for having it in for his father. [Ha ha. The irony of it all.] Michael assured him he wanted the truth. Scott stomped out. Cheryl apologized but Michael was impressed with Scott's loyalty and devotion, or something. ["He's got what it takes."]
Perhaps the kisses were a little more effective than I had supposed. MJ: what time is it? Adam: it's early. MJ: I have to pull half of Lombardo's shift today. [LOMBARDO? This is as good as Lorne Greene.] Adam: you've got lots of time. trust me. [This is all said between kisses.] MJ: you're gonna tell that to Lombardo? Adam: he can wait a couple of minutes. MJ: no. It can't be that late. Adam: it's not. They're in love forever, in spite of her being late even.
Chad chatted up Mary. He complimented the restaurant and they talked about the family. She left him to Sara's tender mercies. He was a little too friendly. [Is it called soliciting for the sugar daddy to pick up new girls?]
Adam bade MJ goodbye. Someone phoned and said nothing. MJ was a little weird. Adam told her he wasn't going to budge until she came back to him. Kisses etc.
Chad was much too friendly. [I wonder sometimes if Joe isn't some sort of invalid.]
Michael and Cheryl pursued Scott to Mary's Place. They attempted to reason with him. He agreed to think it over.
Mitch made certain they were separate digs. Felicia became hysterical to think that he had even let the mere thought begin to speculate about the merest possibility of crossing his mind. He calmed her down. The rooms are in the Love Tower on the floor below Tops. She assured him Reginald wouldn't interfere. Mac arrived and asked if he was in the right place. Felicia explained her deal with Reginald. Mac warned her to be careful. She assured him that she and Mitch were friends. He's there for a business lunch. it's Rose, natch.
Chad was too friendly to Cheryl. He told her she should be a model. His last name is Rollo. [Chad Rollo is a dumb name] Scott called her away to say he talked to Michael.
I can't understand a single thing Adam and MJ are saying through their kisses. Chad phoned. MJ answered. He called her his best baby and said he was standing not twenty feet from her baby sister. Adam asked what was up. Chad realized she couldn't talk with someone else in the room. he said he had to talk to her. At first she refused but he reminded her of Cheryl. She told Adam it had been her insurance agent. He didn't seem to believe her but she fled for work. She has to meet Chad at the Bayview Diner in fifteen minutes.
Mac brooded about his problems with Rachel. Rose's husband's name was Tom. She told Mac she was always willing to talk to him. Felicia looked at them a little funny.
Michael got Scott to admit he didn't think Vince capable of stabbing Reginald. He told him he had a strong sense of justice and asked him to work with him to find the truth. Scott wavered and fell. Michael asked about Vince's alibi.
MJ met Chad. She told him to stay away from Cheryl and Mary's Place. He was pained because they'd meant so much to each other. She told him it was over. He said he'd loved her and he wanted her to be happy. [He sounds more sincere than Reginald, I'll give him that, and he's creepy.] He told her he didn't love Linda. She assured him she didn't care. He has to find a job in Bay City. He and Linda are moving in. She got upset and left.
Felicia told Mitch that she didn't think Rachel had told Mac about their talk. Mac came over to thank Mitch for having saved his life and to praise his fatherly abilities. Exit Mac and rose. Mitch feels bad for having hurt Mac. [That's nice.]
Mary told Scott Michael was one of the nicest people she'd met in Bay City. He asked everyone to can the Saint Michael thing.
Mitch clammed up. Felicia told him she thought they should have live entertainment starting with Nicole Love. Chad rolled in with his resumé for the job of talent coordinator. Felicia was impressed.
MJ returned to Adam and resumed attempting to talk through his face. She told him she would never love anybody else. He said he'd always love her. The kisses shut him up about the phone call, at any rate. [Men are such slaves to passion.]
