Donna told Peter the letter was unMarleylike. Peter and Victoria tried to soothe her. She decided to call Janie [the friend Marley is allegedly with according to Vic's forged letter]. Victoria protested.
Sally got no help from the police department in trying to track down the errant husband. Aunt Liz is a nuisance. She wants her to have a long talk with the man. Sally would like nothing better but she can't find any trace of him and she fears danger. Liz said she'd seen him not 10 minutes ago and in no danger whatsoever. Sally asked where eagerly.
Tommy Lee intends to ask Britt some questions.
The other Loves encouraged Donna to trust Marley and leave her be. Donna went to look up the number.
Marley left a message with Maisie telling Jake she was all right. She let on she was in town.
Aunt Liz tried to change the subject but Sally persisted. Liz confessed she'd seen him outside the Plains Motel with a scantily clad sequined female. Sally was more concerned with the state of his health. She trusts him. Enter MJ who promised Catlin would be home soon and advised her to find something to do. She will.
Catlin refused to have faith in Britt's vocal cords until she spoke. They accused him of being her accomplice but he denied it steadfastly to the end, even going so far as to pick a fight with her. He said he was going to teach her a lesson and tried boldly to carry her out struggling. No go. Jimmy suspects Larry.
Adrienne's locked up in the room Larry'd being kept in. He burst in and rescued her. She was pleased. But worried about him. She thinks Tommy Lee has gone off the deep end in a big way and will kill him if he sees him. She won't tell him where the lab is.
Michaud watched a sleeping Daphne next to him and imagined her Sally. She awoke pleased to find him gazing at her with such an expression. Kissing. Daniel called to say the visualization room was nearly done. Michaud wants to start Kathleen immediately. He's sure of Sally. Daphne is not. "Je t'aime," said she. He got up to go to work.
Donna couldn't find the number. She found it just as Victoria's Marley called. To her satisfaction. Fears at rest.
Sally told Michaud she hadn't had a chance to talk to Catlin yet. He got her to sample some perfume in order to design a bottle. Her perception (unlike Daphne's) matched his perfectly. He was thrilled. She was convinced to take the job.
Larry was eventually forced to tell Adrienne Catlin was Roy. She told him where the lab was. He fled. She took his gun and followed.
Marley made friends with a woman on the bus. The woman was sorry to hear Marley was going to Lassiter.
Jake's rocketing along on the motorcycle.
A box came for Donna. Victoria told Bridget she was worried because Marley and Jake were out there alone in the big world together and he hadn't reported back yet. Bridget told her not to be so inventive. Enter Donna who pounced on the box containing a dress for meeting Michaud.
Sally ran into Daphne who kindly thought to tell her working for Michaud she wouldn't be able to call her soul her own. Working at his whim day and night ignoring reality but coming up against it at every turn. Sally was not fazed in the slightest. She was warned Michaud was obsessive and fatally charming. Sally didn't mind. Exit Sally. Daphne was strange and vague and bitchy to Michaud. He's not impressed by Donna. She urged him to call her. She was nasty about his Sally motives.
Larry told MJ they had trouble. Adrienne lurked in the shadows unseen.
Donna told Victoria about Carl and the money. She warned her to be wary of men. Michaud called. Donna invited him over for a cocktail party. He's coming. She's suddenly aware she lacks servants.
Larry told MJ the Man was coming in with a chemist on a private plane at 4:00 PM. The airport is to be surrounded. He told her where the lab was. He's going there after Catlin. Exit Larry with Adrienne on his heels. MJ drove off.
Jake questioned a man about how long ago Marley's bus had left. When told only half an hour he kissed him and dashed off.
Donna told Peter about Michaud. He's entertaining out with clients. She was distressed. He was mildly upset but restrained in his disapproval of champagne and caviar ("What did you expect, beer and saltines?" spoken crossly) but remarkably unrestrained in his fury of the price of the new dress. Back it goes.
Catlin kept on about how badly Tommy Lee had done in letting bimbo Brittany infiltrate. He offered to see to it that she never talk again. Tommy Lee thinks there's something fishy about him. He's too soft. Catlin professed himself willing (nay, eager) to finish her off then and there if they'd give him the Needle. It was handed over. He fingered it, glanced at Brittany held still by Jimmy and stared at Tommy Lee's exposed throat.
