ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

October 5, 1987

Jamie told Felicia that he and Lisa weren't getting married. She wanted to know if Lisa was going to wear a wedding dress at somebody else's wedding. Cass stepped in to explain. Peter told That Old Carrot that Michael was headed for John's boat.

Donna dressed hurriedly and snatched up her purse.

Victoria jumped into her car and roared away, having vowed never to forgive Donna. John got into his car.

Donna ran into Michael on the docks. She became hysterical and said she hadn't wanted it to happen and she was sorry. Michael asked what had happened.

John drove after Victoria, unaware of her identity, blowing his horn and yelling at her to pull over lest she kill herself. Victoria sped up. Then she turned on her side. John found her crumpled and battered body at the side of the road. He became upset.

That Old Carrot was pleased with Peter. Peter basked in his approval.

Lisa retracted her promise to model the dress. No one paid any attention. Felicia tried to find out about Nicole's fashion show. Cass was evasive. Jamie tried to persuade Lisa. Felicia took Cass aside. Enter Barbara. She complained about the lighting and demanded padlocks. Felicia offered to forget the whole thing. Barbara said she'd sue. Felicia advised her to take a hike. They have a contract. Cass advised them to stop being counter-productive and made Felicia agree to Barbara's demands. Barbara warned them not to try anything. Exit Barbara. Exit Felicia. Enter Nicole. Mitch told Felicia not to worry. Enter Rachel to yell at Mitch about Matthew. That Old Carrot assured Peter Victoria would be fine.

Michael asked Donna if she'd been attacked. She refused to say anything. She begged him to take her home. He told her he loved her and picked her up to take her home.

John tried to revive Victoria but everywhere he touched was blood. He bound wounds. A truck stopped. They moved her carefully onto a sheet of plywood. The guys in the truck suggested calling an ambulance. John said there wasn't time. They asked if he wanted to be responsible for someone he didn't know. He said she was his daughter.

Lisa got a strange psychic headache but assured Jamie it was nothing. Jamie was summoned to the hospital. Nicole asked Cass why he was helping. That Old Carrot and Peter decided to go to Victoria. "Vicky's going to need her real family tonight."

Michael got Donna home. She thought about the hurricane conversation. He asked her what had happened. She was fairly reluctant and incoherent. He told her he'd deduced from the state of her clothes that she'd been raped.

Jamie praised John for the good work he'd done. He assured him he'd do good work now.

Donna told Michael she hadn't been raped. She did take the suggestion that she'd been attacked and said John hadn't been there. He said they'd talk to Adam tomorrow. He felt guilty that he hadn't been there to stop her going to the docks and said he wanted to kill the guy. She became upset. John called and told Michael to come to the hospital right away.

Mitch made Rachel see that he had handled Matthew properly. They chatted nicely. Cass told Nicole he simply enjoyed a scam. He scams to forget.

That Old Carrot and Peter found the boat deserted and signs of a hasty flight.

Cass praised Nicole for being tough. Marriage with money is fun, he says. He recommends it. Lisa told Felicia she couldn't be having an impression because she was no longer psychic and went home.

John told Michael about the accident. Donna freaked out blaming herself. Michael made her come along.

Mitch is pleased to know that Matthew loves him. Felicia told him that it never hurt to stop being taciturn and tell people you care about them. (No "Sois beau et tais-toi" for her.) She offered positive reinforcement when he said he loved her. They tried to adjourn to his room but Cass stopped them.

That Old Carrot appropriated John's unmailed letters, just in case.

Michael and Donna arrived. Donna gazed mutely at John. Jamie appeared, looking cryptic.
