Felicia told Wallingford she was scared because of Mitch and Reginald.
Reginald threatened to have Mitch put in jail. Mitch said they could share a cell.
Cheryl and Scott chatted on the phone. She told him MJ and Adam were in love and MJ was sleeping over chez Adam.
MJ struggled. The sugar daddy's name is Chad. She told him to leave her alone. He assured her he knew she hadn't meant it. She told him to get lost. He refused to budge. MJ blew the horn.
Cheryl and Scott argued about the division of labour if they should marry. Cheryl heard the horn and rushed outside [having told him to phone Adam].
Wallingford told Felicia not to take a job from the man behind Zane's death. She said there had never been any evidence linking Reginald to that distressing incident. Wallingford attempted to reason with her. She said Zane would have wanted her to accept the lack of evidence in order to get on with her life.
Mitch threatened Reginald for an unclear reason. I'm not certain what he wants him not to do.
Cheryl frightened Chad off. MJ sobbed and shook and kept saying "he was in my car." When Cheryl asked if she'd seen him she said not. Cheryl assured her Adam would find her attacker.
Sarah got a blind date for Nancy and refused to say who it was. Cheryl phoned Mary's Place and asked her to send Jamie over in spite of MJ's protests.
Adam arrived at the Mckinnons' and MJ fell into his arms with relief. Cheryl explained what had happened. Adam sent men out to search the area. He was surprised when MJ said she couldn't describe her attacker. She was not thrilled when Cheryl said she could.
Brittany and Catlin sat around being in love. He assured her they'd get to Montana. She spotted the LOVE name in lights on the Love Tower and became despondent.
Mitch asked Reginald if he'd burned down the Northwoods Inn. Reginald told him he wouldn't admit anything even if he had. Mitch said he knew but he'd enjoyed looking into his eyes when he asked the question. He warned him to stay away from Felicia.
Cheryl's description was vague. MJ relaxed a little. Scott arrived.
Nancy got dressed up. She asked Sarah if 'twere Tony. After a lot of badgering Sarah said not. Nancy was let down. Tony arrived. "it's you," he said. "It's you," said Nancy.
Mitch asked That Old Carrot if he'd killed Felicia's husband and gazed into his eyes a little more. Enter Felicia. Mitch told her to leave. Felicia said she could sleep speak for herself. She is decided to accept Reginald's offer. The deal is that Tops will be hers in two years. Mitch argued with her but she remained firm. She warned him not to interfere in her running of the business. He agreed. Mitch gave Felicia a hard time. She was distressed.
Nancy and Tony confessed that they had been willing [nay, eager] to advertise for each other. [This, then, is love.] Sarah shoved them into the kitchen. He told her he was working for Cory and he wanted to be a reporter when he grew up.
Zack and Julie and Catlin and Brittany sat around in Mary's Place. Enter Peggy and Peter.
Jamie left MJ in Adam's lovely hands. Adam assured MJ he'd never let anyone hurt her again. He hugged her very sweetly and said he'd never let her go. He told her to get her things because they had a date.
Cheryl told Scott she was surprised MJ the cop hadn't remembered Chad's description. Scott said she'd probably panicked. Cheryl heard a noise. Scott went to investigate.
Catlin told Peggy that he would make certain Brittany came on command if only she would let them go to Montana. Peter said he would prefer to have her far away. Peggy relented. Brittany was surprised and thrilled. Zack offered to buy Peggy a drink. Enter Jamie. Everyone celebrated.
Peter asked Peggy why she'd relented. She said Brittany was a bad risk but Reginald had promised to have security watch her.
Adam made MJ lie down on the couch. He made certain she was comfortable. She said she felt much better because of him. When he asked about Chad she said she didn't remember anything because although she's a cop all she was thinking about was him. He said he was a very lucky guy. She said no one had ever made her feel a special as he did. He went to get her a drink. She prayed that Chad would stay away. When Adam returned she was asleep. He told her he loved her and he'd never let anyone hurt her again. Then he very sweetly held his hand next to her face.
Tony told Nancy how thrilling he found reporting. he's just a gofer. Nancy thinks he has potential.
Brittany thanked Peggy. Peter told her he hoped she and Catlin got everything they deserved. They're going to Montana first thing in the morning. Everyone said goodbye. Mitch was nice.
Wallingford startled Felicia by being in her apartment. She tried to convince him [and herself] that taking the job was a good idea. He perceived she was worried because Mitch's opinion meant so much to her. She said they could keep an eye on Reginald for Zane.
Mitch got Felicia's phone number and decided against phoning her.
Scott stayed over to keep Cheryl company. Conversation flagged. A policeman checked in on them. Scott is sleeping on the couch. They were a little awkward. They kissed goodnight and went their separate ways.
