Mac and Rachel saw a musical and returned to the hotel to go to bed.
Chad assured MJ that everything was all right with his girl in spite of her refusal to help. She has been booked into a hotel in the Caribbean. MJ doesn't believe Chad did it out of the goodness of his heart. He told her she had a short memory.
Peter droned on about Reginald and Scott and Donna and Nicole. Linda got fed up and tried to leave. He became rather frightening. She fled. He pursued her.
Felicia worried about Mitch's plan with Michael. He left to meet Paul. Sandra arrived to meet Michael. Michael pled with Sandra. She swore she didn't know what had happened to Donna. He told her he and Donna had never had a honeymoon. She denied knowing anything. He persisted.
Mac and Rachel are glad to be together.
Chad tried to convince MJ that they were madly in love. She told him it wasn't working. He told her she was too good for Adam. She told him to leave her alone. He asked if she could say she had an honest relationship with Adam. She said she could. He told her her whole relationship with Adam was based on lies. Adam came into the Pig Whistle. Chad ducked out the back way. Adam tantalised MJ with a word of a great surprise to take place on Valentine's Day after Felicia's party. [It sounds like a vacation. An elopement would be nice.] Just the two of them. She was interested.
Linda stopped outside the Pig Whistle. A stranger came up behind her and choked the life out of her. He wore rubbery gloves and unPeterly shoes and slipped a note in her cleavage. The next thing we know Peter is looking down at her, alarmed. He did not have the look of a murderer.
Mac and Rachel are an embarrassment. They watched about 10 seconds of Now, Voyager and incorporated the memorable phrase "let's not ask for the moon because we already have the stars" into their life.
Sandra stuck to her story. Michael let her know he knew she didn't have a state license to be a paramedic.
Donna yelled for Michael. A nurse came in and told her there was no one called Michael there. She went to get her something to help her sleep.
Peter snuck home. Perceiving Bridget asleep on the couch he set the drawing room clock back an hour. She woke up. He made certain she saw the time before she went up to bed. 11:10 was firmly entrenched in her brain.
Mitch found Linda and reported the death to the Pig Whistle in general. Adam took charge. A man recognized Linda. MJ didn't let on. Chad rolled up and expressed shock. They realized that Linda had to be freshly dead. Killed at about midnight. Adam and MJ left for Linda's apartment. Paul arrived and proceeded to spend money. He claimed to have won the money on Rusty Lady. Mitch bought him a drink and lifted something from his pocket.
Peter hustled Bridget up to bed and reset the clock. Curiously, it bonged six times. Go figure. Bridget darted in to retrieve her sewing basket but didn't notice the clock. Peter sent her back to bed and realized he'd lost his glove. He went out.
Room service cruised past Mac and Rachel's room with champagne and caviare. They decided to watch another movie. Jane Eyre. Rachel expressed a desire for popcorn.
Mitch returned to Tops. Sandra swore that only Paul knew where Donna was. He showed Michael the map he had stolen from Paul. The map is of the Bay City area. Mitch knows Rusty Lady hasn't won a race in years. Sandra said she'd been paid $500 to keep her mouth shut. Paul let her out in the middle of nowhere and picked her up after he dropped off Donna. Michael told her she was going to help them set a trap.
The nurse gave Donna a pill and left. Donna hadn't swallowed it. She spit it out and said "Michael. Michael."
"All wickedness is but little to the wickedness of a woman" says the cleavage note. They claim that the other dead prostitutes said the same thing. Adam and MJ looked around in Linda's apartment. [I thought it was a hotel room. I guess the room service kind of threw me.] They found out that Peter had been seen with Linda. Peter overheard them through the door and decided not to join the party. MJ found his lost monogrammed glove. Adam decided to go check Peter's alibi. MJ stuck around. She noticed a Felicia Gallant novel on the bedside table and left it alone, not realizing it contained Linda's little black book. Chad arrived.
Mac attempted to analyze his relationship with Rachel. It was too awful to describe. The wished-for popcorn arrived in a street vendor's cart. They got it all over everything.
Michael told Sandra to convince Paul that the contact had given them more money for him to retrieve Donna. He threatened her with imprisonment.
Adam hit the Love mansion to look at Peter suspiciously. Peter was all innocence. When confronted with the glove and the witness he claimed that he had been giving Linda legal advice. Adam was sceptical. Bridget very cleverly established Peter's alibi. Adam was disappointed. He promised to come back for further talk.
Chad slyly pocketed the Gallant book. MJ yelled at him for putting girls' lives in danger. She asked if he had any clues. He denied especially that Linda kept records.
Michael thought about dancing with Donna in a red dress under a disco ball. [Ick.] He swore he'd find her.
