Victoria woke up in bed with Jake. In a good mood. She's a bit worried about Marley though. He reassured her.
The child Victoria had some sort of trinket which she yelled no one would ever take from her again. Marley woke up yelling it. She wondered what they'd been trying to take and said she had to go.
Brittany told the man Tommy Lee wanted her to bring Dale. He said she was going nowhere. She told him to let her by. She kept saying he'd be in big trouble if Dale died there. He said he could be in big trouble if he let her go. Dale moaned MAMA and he asked if Britt were her mother. She took exception to that and told him she tell Tommy Lee if he gave her trouble. Dale let out a piteous wail and Britt took her past.
"Peter, would you stop talking so fast I can't understand what you're -- /I KNOW. You've told me three times that the check has bounced and I've told YOU three times that it's NOT MY FAULT. /Would you please calm down, Peter? Don't we have that thing where they cover your checking account if you've spent too much money? /Well it's IMPOSSIBLE that I could have spent that much money because I have been absolutely meticulous with the account ever since you started these weekly harangues. /Well BANKS MAKE MISTAKES TOO, PETER /What? Oh you know well I forgot about that. /Oh well that was important though that was for the shoes. /It was for the birthday party, Peter. Without the shoes the entire -- /Peter. PETER. PETER. I CANNOT STAND THIS. I WON'T LISTEN TO THIS. IT'S DONE. What am I supposed to do? It won't happen again. /I know I said that before but it will not happen again." [Ringing off.] "Scarlett, I know just how you felt. I will never be overdrawn again." [Ringing at door.] "GO AWAY." [Reringing.] "OH. I don't know how people deal without maids, I don't know how they get rid of people." She let Felicia in bearing gifts for the Marleys. Felicia suggested the girls drop by Lesoleil someday. Donna dragged her in to sit down.
Michaud can't get past Gerhard to persuade HIM. He told Daphne things were falling through and things were getting out of control with the fisherman. She told him it would work but perhaps he should pay heed to Felicia's disinclination to have Sally as the Lesoleil woman. Michaud insisted Sally was right and Felicia liked her. They quarreled. Exit Michaud.
Donna pressed iced tea on Felicia and asked about Lesoleil. Felicia suggested Donna undergo the process. "I can't think of anyone I'd rather see transformed." Donna is not inclined. She said she thought they wanted a sort of woman with time and money to spare to transform. She led up to the idea of herself as social liaison to get Lesoleil in touch with that sort of woman. Felicia talked about other things. Donna wants to meet Michaud. Felicia fled, suggesting Marley discuss twinness on the show. Donna picked up the phone and then decided to talk to Marley first.
Kevin asked where Britt was. Sally told him she was on a leave of absence taking time off from her job. Kevin asked if that were like Catlin. Aunt Liz shot LOOKS at Sally. Sally said not like Catlin and he'd be back soon. Kevin wants Catlin's help with his models. Aunt Liz offered her services. Kevin: it's just that -- Catlin knows what he's doing. [Much laughter chez moi. Does he really?] Kevin gave in and went to get it. Liz asked about Catlin. Sally doesn't want to talk about it. Liz is willing to talk about Sally's job with the boy with the odd name. "Michaud is not a boy". Liz doesn't like it. Sally told her she was waiting to talk to Catlin and they've never been better. Brittany's just up to something else.
Britt dumped Dale at the hospital and told Joyce she couldn't fill out reports. She can't be named.
Tommy Lee dragged Adrienne back to the motel and was mad to find Dale gone.
Aunt Liz sent Kevin to find a missing piece. She brought up the job again. Sally reminded her she still had to talk to Catlin. Aunt Liz wants things to stay just as they are. Sally wants a challenge. Aunt Liz suggested she have a baby (the weirdness of the woman.) Sally doesn't think that would fit the bill. Sally: there are other things I have to do. Liz: yes, like work for strangers. Sally made strange noises. She wants to work things out on her own. Everybody wants to take care of her (meaning I think Mac). Liz wants to know more about Michaud. She is wary of him. Enter Michaud willing to answer questions.
Donna told Marley she had decided to take control of her life and she [Marley] could help.
Joyce remonstrated with Brittany. Brittany begged her not to tell and fled.
Cannon interrogated Brittany's strange man as a cop.
Adrian said she hadn't done it. They fought. Cannon came in and said a woman with dark hair, hazel eyes and some kind of accent had done it. Tommy Lee left to investigate.
Victoria has to go to talk to Marley. Jake and she are getting on great. He was the only Lassiterite who was nice to her.
Marley opened Felicia's gift. The Interstate Gourmet, a diner guide. Donna told her she and Felicia were NEGOTIATING for her to be the Lesoleil social director w. massive salary. Marley wants to know more about Victoria. Donna and Marley (ignoring each other) thought aloud sort of about what they intend to do. Marley asked if she could go away for a bit. Donna absently said "Whatever you think best" and got on the phone. "Could you give me the number of Monsieur Michaud Christophe. "The Interstate Gourmet... that's me." Marley bounded out. "No. It's FRENCH for Mister."
Daphne told Felicia Michaud often lost perspective over the low soul a woman and would be unlikely to see his mistake. She suggested (subtly) Felicia set him straight. Exit Felicia. Donna called pretending to be her own secretary eager to speak to Michaud.
Michaud is getting along wildly well with Liz and Kevin. He can manage to deal with a model with a piece missing with the aid of a bobby pin and glue that is out of its mind.
The Bakers cried over Dale's bedside promising all would be well.
MJ bullied Joyce into telling that Brittany had brought Dale in.
Marley hid some money. Victoria came into her room. Marley wants to discuss their respective childhoods. Vic doesn't. Marley wants to know more about her. Vic fled abruptly. Marley zipped her bag.
The model is wonderful. Everybody's happy. Kevin said Catlin would be thrilled by the model. Liz told Michaud he was out of town on business. Michaud said he must be terribly lonely away from home. They sound drunkish. Liz finds Michaud adorable. Michaud reprieved Kevin's bedtime. Sent to fetch paper with Liz. Michaud said Catlin was a very lucky man. Enter Felicia.
Tommy Lee was told Dale had been taken to hospital by person or persons unknown. But Britt had been seen in the area. BUT HE TALKED TO HER AND BRITT CAN'T TALK.
Michaud did origami cranes for an enthralled audience. Felicia and Michaud were left alone. He gave her a crane. She said Sally was lovely.
Victoria found Marley's room empty after deciding she wanted to talk. A note for Donna on the pillow.
The blonde man fingered Britt as the woman he'd seen.
